“I would love to continue with ulpan or! I love this individualized method of learning, I love primarily listening, watching and speaking at this point in my studies. I spend so much time with my nose in a book -- reading and writing, it was fun and I learned so much, and learned it much more quickly and completely by using everything I know to listen to conversations and in my own conversations. Thank you so much!”
“I had a wonderful experience and can't wait to continue. I also enjoyed the cultural lessons and discussions that helped make my overall experience in Israel so enjoyable.”
“I thought the course was excellent. I learned a lot of new words and was able to use many of them on my Touring Ulpan sessions. I liked speaking to multiple teachers. It didn't allow me to stay in a comfort zone for too long.”
“1) Gal was an incredible teacher- encouraging and great at explaining concepts. Also great at choosing what was important for me to focus on and adapting to my specific learning needs. I am so grateful to her. She was always upbeat and happy to teach me. It's clear she really loves her job.
2) I really enjoyed my tiyul with Akiva. He was really easy to talk with.
3) I really liked all of the words- like the word for”
“Shira is very patient. I could have spent more time studying outside of class which would allow me to progress faster and with more confidence. I would like to take a couple more long term courses over the next several months (after a break), maybe some via skype and some in tel aviv. The only improvement, again, is my own contribution to studying outside of the classroom should have been better. Very happy with the course and customer service.”
“in general, the method is great. since i have a lot of hebrew in my head, i don't fit a particular level. the reading and most of the verbs in my level came easily although i needed a lot of holes filled in. the neve tzedek and shavuot stories were perfect for me, while the the books seemed underwhelming. hila was REALLY TERRIFIC!!! my last day was a bit of a bummer because there were so many emails about my schedule that i got confused and lost a half hour in the end. not a good way to end my studies. i am looking forward to continuing my studies online and hope that access to higher levels will help me alot. todah!”
“Inbar was so supportive and patient. I was so lucky to have her as an instructor. She consistently went out of her way to help me and was encouraging every step of the way.”
“Everything drastically exceeded my expectations. All of the teachers were amazing in every possible way, and I only wish I lived closer to be able to continue in person. I would be happy to elaborate on this at some length for a blurb or testimonial for your webpage... I am very impressed. My parents have also heard about it, now, at great length, and are thinking about starting the program too.”
“Continuing my Hebrew studies with Mor Henik has been an enriching experience. She creates a warm and friendly teaching and learning environment and, almost without noticing, I have made a lot of progress. My knowledge of the language has progressed but I feel also that I have increased my understanding of Israel and Israeli society. I am taking a short break now and I am going to miss the lessons! The materials, their content and presentation, also really facilitate studying and learning. Thank you, Ulpan Or and staff!”
