Useless customer service. On Nov 29th, they sent a text message asking for a yes or no about a credit card transaction. When I replied 'no' they messaged back to say they couldn't locate any details of my account. After four phone calls that were never actually answered, and one today that was - I discovered that since 29th Nov, multiple transactions have been attempted (and declined by Vanquis) including one today in UK and abroad, and not a single person bothered to contact me! They sent a letter 5 days ago which has not arrived, but they couldn't explain why, when replying to their own text message, none of my account details could be found. I'm now locked out of the app and will probably be left with no card before Christmas. Their customer service is extremely poor.

This platform is the epitome of poor service and lack of professionalism. They seem more interested in stealing your hard-earned money than they are in actually assisting you. I regret not researching them more beforehand. I ultimately lost £350,000 in just one month. Thankfully, I complained to Treblesltd đø:ŧ ȼø:m̷ , and they helped me get my money back last week.

Absolute useless bank. Someone used my name and postal address to open a credit card account with Vanquis bank and they approved the person without an identity and address proof. On top of that the person stole my identity used their email address and personal phone number yet got credit card. Imagine the level of security checks. And when I called the bank to register the fraud were extremely unprofessional, asked for tons of person so they can update the fraud account and took 2months to commence their internal investigation as well as unable to provide a timescale when they will conclude the investigate. They have no regard of others time and credit score due to their internal fault. It's been damn frustrating and disappointing dealing with their customer and security team.

I have a chronic illness Vanquis continue to phone and text me. I am at present bed bound. I informed them of this in April. I phoned their specialist team and informed them they offered no support. I had 3 emails and a phone call from Asia this morning he went through same questions in April. I informed them I had lost my job and was on benefits I could not afford their premium. Asian man on phone had no idea that vanquis had emailed me advising interest on account would decrease on 11th December he informed me that I would need to pay the full amount for October, when I asked why he said that was decided. I was too fatigued to argue with him. I just put the phone down. No doubt they be ringing me again. Just making me feel anxious more unwell.

Please avoid Vanquish at all cost. They keeper my account account open after I requested it be closed in February 2024 and they are obliged in law to action closer request. I have been a victim of fraud linked to Vanquish. The customer service is worst than terrible. Please, please avoid this terrible outfit the calls itself a bank. It will cost you dear.

They allowed £1,500 to be taken out of my account never heard of the company they told me I would have to wait 5/6 days for them to investigate. Not very reassuring and not much sympathy with their customers. Would not recommend to anyone.

Terrible company - don’t believe the review sites that they prefer you to see. No matter how desperate you are - my advice is avoid them like the plague.

My account was scammed vanquis found this on day it happened but nearly 2 weeks later the amount is still outstanding on my account all they keep telling me is its under investigation and they won't tell me how long it will take to resolve

Terrible poor Customer service, put simply the worst customer service I have ever experienced anywhere. If it was free for life I would want one. On going customer service complaint, whet behind there own hole of 56 days. Took five phone calls, each one over many hours, cut off poor spoken English simply a nightmare to deal with, totally horrible and hopeless. Far too many broken promises, put simply there should be banned for trading in the UK. The regulator fined them a massive fine @of way over 1 Million pounds for Breaking the Financial conduct authority. rules. Simply Awful company to deal with.

Company took my entire wage out my bank, promised to refund, but then said they can’t a week later. Agreed to partially refund after countless hours on phone. “Manager” agreed to refund £1500 but put £500 in my bank and added £1500 to my card. Hours on the phone later they admitted it was their fault and sent another £1000. When I paid balance to close card, they added another £1000 onto my card. Explained over and over that 500 +1000 doesn’t equal 1500 + 1000 and getting no where. Can’t get through to anyone that can fix it and the call backs never happen. Absolutely awful. They can’t even add up. And they’re not interested in dealing with complaints. Should be shut down

Recently I have suffered identity theft with this bank. Someone opened credit card just with my name! It’s that easy to open it, yeah… It was more than 8 weeks ago, they said they closed that credit card, but they didn’t and now it ruined my credit score because of missed payments. And no one is willing to help me, customer service is so poor. Avoid this bank at any cost!

Shocking I closed my account but had received money on to said account, £62 I called to ask for a refund and was put through so many hoops it was a joke, needed me to submit identification etc which I found odd they were able to give me a credit card but not my own money back without identification, did this and then called was told id get a call back, I asked to be called at a certain time due to work, literally called when I couldn’t answer, so again I call, I get someone else on the phone who says she’s now processed my refund i should have it latest by Friday, Friday here I call up to say not received and there is no record of this person speaking to me and worse she took my sort code and acc details, have raised a complaint this is seriously worrying, now with my passport, name address and sort code and account number all to get my own money back.. will await how this complaint goes but I have a fair idea nothing will be done but recording a complaint as taking this further.

Absolut nightmare to deal with! The website is almost useless, and the so called "customer service" is pointless, they call you, but ring off after 1 or 2 rings, and when you do answer it, there's no-one there!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!

I opened an account with vanquis, from the start they were terrible, my pin card & credit card came together. So anyone could have stole my identity. Then they wouldn’t let me sign into my account & said they would contact me, never did. They then sent me a letter with someone else’s name on it, I opened without checking the name. I saw they had sent their account to a debt company. Then a week later I got the exact same letter, saying they had sent my account to debt company for exactly same amount. I never even activated the card, so had never used it. It has took my credit score down. Made a complaint & got a letter, saying they wouldn’t do anything about it. Very dodgy company.

Just closed my credit card with Vanquis and I’ve had to reinstate it as I had an overpayment they said the £3 balance in credit had been wiped off I asked when I will receive this their answer you won’t we can’t return under £5

Least helpful company ive dealt with. Got myself into finacial difficulty and they refuse to help even put a payment plan in place.💁‍♀️
