“Great rack! Does everything awesomely well and looks better than the cats meow! Only drawback is it is dog-on heavy. They could have at least made the tire baskets out of aluminum (kept them the same thickness) and saved maybe 10 pounds or so. Seems like they could have saved weight on the thing. It takes a lot of strength to install it. Bikes load super easy.”

“I've had the 5X for a few months now and have gotten some good use out of it both for long hauls and shuttle laps. I like how solid the rack is even with a full load of enduro bikes. I also like that I can bring both my gravel and mountain bikes on it. I think that the spacing is about perfect for shuttling, cause it is not too hard to pull or load bikes out of order. I am glad I got the wider spacing, especially for shuttling. I really like using it for storing bikes in the garage when not on the back of my car. I can fit more bikes in the same space than just with hooks. I use it with an Audi Q7.”

“This bike rack is a great solution for our family of 5. I love that it doubles as a garage rack to keep our bikes organized at home, too. We use it with our Toyota Sienna, and can still open the back door to access luggage. The van is easy to drive with the bikes. However, because the van is low to the ground, we can't back out of driveways with more than a slight incline without scraping. Overall, I'm quite happy with this purchase and would recommend it.”

“Love the rack! Only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because it rocks alot when fully loaded with 7 bikes. I'm concerned it will wear out the pivots sooner than later. I have a family of 5 and the boys always want to bring multiple bike so it's not a light rack too often. HOWEVER...the customer service has been amazing and the team takes care of you. Definite quality and care goes into the rack. I have definitely recommended these racks to others. Happy trails.”

“Using the rack is very intuitive. Having previously used roof racks and more standard hitch mount hanging carriers and trays, this is far and away the most secure my bikes have felt on a vehicle. The greatest benefit, though, is that I can hang six bikes and with only minor finagling, remove any single bike without upsetting the bunch. Life changing.”

“I love how easy to load my Velocirax is. The only drawback is that my tailgate on my Toyota Tacoma won’t open all the way with the rack lowered. With the tailgate receiver adapter, the tailgate will open but the whole thing is too low to the ground and has a tendency to bottom out.”

“Love this rack! Very durable, straight forward to put together, easy to use. Super nice that the only contant points are the tires so no rub wear on frame or fork. Best bike rack out there! Worth every penny!”

“We recently purchased our second VelociRAX. Once again the shipping and packaging was fantastic, assembly was simple and quick and we love using it. We’re the first to unload and load up in the parking lot. Bikes are secure and I don’t have to worry about them coming in contact with each other.”

“Its crazy heavy, bounces around a lot and bikes are going to bang into each other. It’s also very expensive. Its also very sturdy and well made, i have no concerns that the bike rack will get damaged in use. Honestly I’m more concerned that it’ll rip the hitch off my car.”
