The reason I give this bad review is I return the item back but never receive my money back

Returned an item I wasn’t happy with, received an email stating I would receive a refund within a few days however 8 weeks later an multiple unanswered emails later I have still not received anything

Two dresses returned, no refund given and online chat just says you will be contacted, no one does respond. DO NOT buy from them you will lose your money.

Avoid!! I ordered 3 dresses but none of them fit. I returned them and paid £5.55 to return. I still haven't received my refund. I have tried to contact them numerous of times but had nothing back. Trying to get My money back from my bank. Awful company scamming people out of money!! Avoid,!!!!!

Terrible company, if you return product, they will then ignore ALL attempts at communication and keep your money, they delete all negative comments and now their facebook page today. I have had to go to bank to try and get money back. BE WARNED dont buy

Purchased a dress that did not suit therefore returned it to vestry.com. Received and email stating that they had received the dress and that a refund would be back in my account in 3-5days. A month later and no refund. Tried to contact but being no one gets back to me. Left countless fb messages and have now been blocked. Shocking customer service. How can they get away with this?

Pls do not order from Vestry as they do not answer ur calls or they never get back to you at any times .it’s a job to get back ur refunds and they do not have a contact numbers to deal with ur issues so pls do not order from that company they are really bad

I was just about to buy from this company, but after reading so many bad reviews from verified buyer's, there is no way I would trust them. I did not see one apology or response, from them to the customers on here they ignored and refused refunds on deffective goods, or implemented an unworkable returns policy on. Shame---- but they don't not seem to care at all, so do not deserve good custom unless they make their refund process more amenable as should be with online buying.

Will never be ordering from Vestry again and I would advise others to do the same. I sent back a dress costing £75 a week and a half before we went into lockdown they received the parcel back on the 16th March they havent processed me a refund and have since closed due to COVID-19. I asked for refund via email and on their messenger account which they seen but never got back to me. Another company issued my refund back the other day so dont seen why they cannot when it will all be processed online. Very disappointing taking peoples money and not giving refunds.

Very poor experience. Expensive postage. Dress arrived and looked nothing like the advertised image so returned. Wrote a review about it online to warn others and they wouldn't publish it. I contacted customer services to complain, they raised an online complaint order and then never replied. I will never order from them again

My order was never delivered to me. Customer service was unhelpful, no option to speak to anyone on the phone, still no refund almost 1 month later. Do not make online orders as they just steal your money!

Really poor customer service. Sent them an email to try and resolve an issue never got a response. Huge miscommunication with delivery and courier on whether the parcel would be delivered or not. Inlcuding receiving an email from the courier to say my order had been cancelled even though this wasn't the case with my Vestry account online. When I emailed again the advisor Angelika didn't respond to the issue just gave a generic response showing real lack of understanding. Held onto my refund for 8 days saying this was due to reasons beyond their control. Even though other companies refund you within days! Also sending somebody a 10% off email when you haven't been able to fulfil the original order is pointless. I have unsubscribed and will be happily spending my money elsewhere.

Ordered with Vestry which I have done many times before. Received an email to say my order had been accepted and another email to say it was on its way. I then received an email from the courier company to say my order had been cancelled and to contact Vestry with no explanation at all. Checked my online order history for it not to show as cancelled. Sent an email and have tried to phone numerous times and NOTHING!!! I ordered the items as I needed them for this weekend. Was about to spend the money with another company but then I get another email to say my order is in fact actually on its way. I havent opened it as really annoyed by the lack of customer service and miscommunication.

When i ordered 2 dresses the only reason i processed the order was because it stated a delivery date of 19/12/17. This being the date of the evening i left for New York i made the order to take with me. I then recieved a notification to say my order woud not be recieved until 20/12/17. I contacted Vestry and spoke to Angelika who had disgusting customer service. One very unhappy customer. I will be expecting a full refund!

I purchased a dress which looked nothing like the photo! The quality was so poor and i was so disappointed. A complete waste of money and i would not recommend this website to anyone!

When i returned my item Vestry did not advise they had received it. I chased them up only to be given a reply that no refund would be given as they believe i had removed the tag & worn the dress! I returned the dress (having tried it on but didn't fit) in the same condition in which i received. They will joy refund me and they want me to organise a courier to go and collect the dress again?! Terrible & i wont be buying from them again!

DO NOT USE!! I purchased a dress from this company, which was of poor quality. They are refusing to refund me for this purchase. The customer service team is horrendous. They do not respond to any emails or correspondence. Avoid using this retailer at all costs.

I actually wouldn't even give one star but had to. Ordered two dresses in different sizes and returned one (I had to buy a slip for under the other one as the quality was poor and the dress was see through). Received an email to say that they had received the dress but would not refund the money as it was received after 14 days and they didn't have to. Obviously I wasn't happy with us so complained but the customer service (or lack of) was awful and they basically told me there was nothing they could do. Then they ignored my emails and Facebook messages requesting parcel details so i could get the parcel back. I have basically paid £90 for one poor quality dress and they now have my returned dress (which they have probably re-sold). I have reported them to the retail ombudsman and provided emails as they were so unhelpful and have stolen my money and dress. BUY ELSEWHERE!!!!

The dress delivered was very poor quality, so was immediately returned for a full refund. Vestry, to be fair to them, refunded the price of the dress quickly. However, they did not refund the £3.95 postage charge, despite UK Distance Selling Regulations being crystal clear that the buyer is entitled to a full refund including postage charges. Sent an email to query this, received a snotty reply back saying they wouldn't be refunding the postage charge. I advised them this was a clear breach of UK law, received the same snotty reply back. I corrected them again, and have now received no reply in 2 days so have resorted to a PayPal claim. It amazes me a company in this day and age is not aware of their responsibilities under UK law, and can be so blatantly ignorant when they are in the wrong. A shame.
