Very poor experience. Expensive postage. Dress arrived and looked nothing like the advertised image so returned. Wrote a review about it online to warn others and they wouldn't publish it. I contacted customer services to complain, they raised an online complaint order and then never replied. I will never order from them again

Stay clear of this company. I ordered a two piece, skirt and top, looked amazing on the website. When it arrived the strap was completely broken, I hadn't even tried it on, just took it out of the packaging and one of the straps was just hanging and it's only sewn on one end, which means its completely un-wearable and faulty. I sent the item back asking for a refund, and was amazed a week later they had sent it back to me, saying I was over the 14 days return policy (by 2 days I might add) and despite numerous e-mails, even quoting the Sales of Goods Act, they have point blank refused to help me, no refund, no exchange, nothing, just keep the broken top. If I could fix it myself I would! Absolutely disgusting service.

Will never be ordering from Vestry again and I would advise others to do the same. I sent back a dress costing £75 a week and a half before we went into lockdown they received the parcel back on the 16th March they havent processed me a refund and have since closed due to COVID-19. I asked for refund via email and on their messenger account which they seen but never got back to me. Another company issued my refund back the other day so dont seen why they cannot when it will all be processed online. Very disappointing taking peoples money and not giving refunds.

I purchased an item for my niece for her birthday which did not fit when trying to return the item as it was outside the 14 days it was refused and sent back to me. The item was in excess if £100 had all labels attached and had clearly not been worn so no reason the item couldn't be re stocked for sale. How an item purchased as a gift is expected to be returned in such a short space of time is beyond me! Good luck if you have purchased christmas gifts as if the do not fit you will be stuck with the them!

Customer service unreliable! Shop sells products with deffect to customers and then denies it in order not to fully reimburse!! I bought a "Flattering Plepum Dress" for 50 pounds, delivered to Germany. Upon arrival, I saw that the dress was faulty: one of the sleeves was obviously misplaced, with the consequence that, upon wearing, both sleeves seemed different from each other. If not for this VERY OBVIOUSLY deffect, I would have kept the dress. I immediately notified Vestry's consumer service, specifically making reference to my order, and asked if I would have to pay for the delivery costs when sending the faulty dress back. They answered me saying that they were sorry and that I should send back the package and they would reimburse the delivery costs also. Later, though, when I asked for this reimbursement, they answered that they do not reimburse international customers! Even though they knew that I was an international customer when they told me they would reimburse me! Plus, they denied that there was any deffect - but i took a picture of how the dress looked and how it was supposed to look from the picture in Vestry's website, so the lie was obvious. They will certainly sell the faulty product to some other stupid customer!

DO NOT USE!! I purchased a dress from this company, which was of poor quality. They are refusing to refund me for this purchase. The customer service team is horrendous. They do not respond to any emails or correspondence. Avoid using this retailer at all costs.

I actually wouldn't even give one star but had to. Ordered two dresses in different sizes and returned one (I had to buy a slip for under the other one as the quality was poor and the dress was see through). Received an email to say that they had received the dress but would not refund the money as it was received after 14 days and they didn't have to. Obviously I wasn't happy with us so complained but the customer service (or lack of) was awful and they basically told me there was nothing they could do. Then they ignored my emails and Facebook messages requesting parcel details so i could get the parcel back. I have basically paid £90 for one poor quality dress and they now have my returned dress (which they have probably re-sold). I have reported them to the retail ombudsman and provided emails as they were so unhelpful and have stolen my money and dress. BUY ELSEWHERE!!!!

The clothes they sell look great but these 5* reviewers obviously haven’t had to return their items because that’s when things seem to go horribly wrong. The customer “service” is unfriendly, unhelpful and frustrating because they don’t answer the points you make when complaining. For example, I received a dress which had all the labels (including the washing instructions) removed. They didn’t have a replacement in my size so I asked for a reduction. They did offered me a return but ignored my several emails requests for a reduction. This is not the first time I’ve had difficulty communicating with Vestry and I won’t be using them again. “Service’ is not the word I’d use to describe their culture.

The dress I ordered was several sizes too small than the size I ordered. While the dress was stretchy, the thread they used was not, so I was unable to get the dress over my shoulders. Total bullshit.

Wouldn't trust company charge rip off prices for rubbish clothes- money grabbers. Ordered a few things, very tacky and cheap looking. Very poor customer service.

Bought a dress , too tight , returned it , dress cost £37.60 Was refunded £27 Emailed them to ask why I wasn't refunded the total for the dress ( which was £30 ) Postage was £7.60 Didn't get a reply . Very Poor Won't be shopping here again

Absolutely awful experience from start to finish, god knows how these guys are still in business. Awful quality, terrible customer service, ridiculous returns policy, cheap tacky and ugly.

Avoid!! I ordered 3 dresses but none of them fit. I returned them and paid £5.55 to return. I still haven't received my refund. I have tried to contact them numerous of times but had nothing back. Trying to get My money back from my bank. Awful company scamming people out of money!! Avoid,!!!!!

Purchased a dress that did not suit therefore returned it to vestry.com. Received and email stating that they had received the dress and that a refund would be back in my account in 3-5days. A month later and no refund. Tried to contact but being no one gets back to me. Left countless fb messages and have now been blocked. Shocking customer service. How can they get away with this?

Pls do not order from Vestry as they do not answer ur calls or they never get back to you at any times .it’s a job to get back ur refunds and they do not have a contact numbers to deal with ur issues so pls do not order from that company they are really bad

My order was never delivered to me. Customer service was unhelpful, no option to speak to anyone on the phone, still no refund almost 1 month later. Do not make online orders as they just steal your money!

The dress delivered was very poor quality, so was immediately returned for a full refund. Vestry, to be fair to them, refunded the price of the dress quickly. However, they did not refund the £3.95 postage charge, despite UK Distance Selling Regulations being crystal clear that the buyer is entitled to a full refund including postage charges. Sent an email to query this, received a snotty reply back saying they wouldn't be refunding the postage charge. I advised them this was a clear breach of UK law, received the same snotty reply back. I corrected them again, and have now received no reply in 2 days so have resorted to a PayPal claim. It amazes me a company in this day and age is not aware of their responsibilities under UK law, and can be so blatantly ignorant when they are in the wrong. A shame.

Ordered two of the same dresses from this company (for sizes) which I returned. Never had a problem with other companies. Received an e-mail to state that only a partial refund had been given. When I questioned this, they stated they had only received one dress. I had sent two back and they will only refund one. I agree with others on here. Great delivery etc but when it comes to returning they will try to keep your money. Shopsafe rate them 2 stars for this very reason. You have been warned! Fell in love with a dress online...then even more when it finally arrived! I ordered a size 8 which is completely true to size. Absolutely love the back detail and quality on this and can't wait to wear it out. Delivery was fast, returned one item from the order and I was refunded quickly with no issues, highly recommended
