first thing: you must advise your customers to have a birth certificate with them, if they have children under 16 years with them. that´s not something people know. We almost failed entering namibia:-(( second: we were not happy with all the locations, not the lodges however - they were all super. However, Otjohotozu Guest farm and Sasa safri camp are located at areas, where there is not a lot to do, or what is to do is rather a long drive away. For example, instead of Otjohotozu Guest farm a location closer to Spitzkoppe would be better and instead of Sasa safri camp something closer to the tafelberg region.

The preparation for the trip was very thorough and we enjoyed the personalised touch. During the trip we had minor problems in every single booking. To be fair, they were addressed. However nobody likes to deal with hiccups on holiday. For example, when we wanted to pay our first dinner (not included) the hotel told us that viatu insisted on paying for it. Then we received multiple reminders during the trip from viatu asking us to pay. At the end of the trip we even received an invoice which we promptly paid. All this was unnecessary. There were various other examples of viatu not vetting their service providers. For example, we were detained by the police for over thirty minutes, because our rental car had multiple issues including missing documents and unpaid fines. Our past trips with viatu were not so sloppy. In our opinion these were all viatu problems and not Rwanda problems.

Wonderful experience in Namibia. Lodges super comfortable and pleasures. The organizations trip was very good and adapted for us. Only few remarks: - the international licence was necessary and we haven't been noticed about that. This caused us some problems in the police checkpoints. - the activities at Sandwich harbour was actually established at 9:00, while it was written that was at 7:45 and to be 30 min in advance. At that time everything was closed. - in kramersdorf guesthouse some of the people working there asked us several time for food or help, asking explicitly to do not report this fact to the guesthouse's owner. This was not a problem for us, but just to inform you about the real sustainability of this guesthouse, hoping that nobody was working there in unproper conditions.

Unsere Tour war gut und auch alles sehr gut organisiert. Die Betreuung und das wir jederzeit eine Ansprechpartnerin hatten hat uns sehr gefreut und geholfen. An allen Unterkünften die wir waren haben wir uns sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt. Unsere Anfroderungen wurden erfüllt. Danke euch und gerne wieder.

Wunderschöne Südafrika-Ferien mit allem, was dazu gehört...schöne, atemberaubende Landschaften, aufregende Tierbegegnungen, eindrückliche Kulturerlebnisse und viel Entspannung an der Sonne.
