“What can I say? We've had an absolute blast, traveling through Namibia. Soooo many good new memories! We booked our trip a bit last minute but had amazing support from Viatu to get all the information in time. The recommended route was perfect and to be honest, I was a bit 'scared' of the long distances in between the spots as I've read a lot of blogs, etc. before. And I didn't want to sit 'just in the car'. But the route was planned so well and we ended up having one long drive, then some short drives and then a long drive again. So it was very well balanced. My absolute highlight was the north around Hoanib / Shipwreck Coast and if I would have booked it myself, I wouldn't have gone there (due to distance and also as it is quite a challenge to organize it) so thanks for putting it on our itinerary :) As I usually organize trips myself (haven't booked through an agency in years) I was a bit skeptical as I love my spontaneity/freedom. But now, as I was in Namibia and saw how many times we didn't have a proper (wifi) connection, I am super grateful we went with Viatu. It was so relaxed! Thank you so much for the support before & during the trip, I couldn't ask for a better ending of 2021! We definitely will be back sooner than later!”

“I dealt with the most amazing team, very professional and warm. Every detail was explained and questions responded to timeously even to the point of having a 'travel-buddy' just by knowing that they are a phone call away should you need anything while on the road. “Everything went super smooth and we really enjoyed our trip! Alex was super flexible and helpful with our last minute booking which we really appreciated. She adapted to all our wishes and ideas and answered all questions patiently! Also, there were super sweet small honeymoon surprises on the way which we loved! “We had a perfect stay in South Africa arranged by Viatu. After a view online meetings and calls with Mardi everything was arranged. There was somebody form the first hotel in Johannesburg at the airport to pick us up and bring us to the hotel and he brought us back the next morning for a domestic flight. The lodges were beautiful with perfect service by the staff. Domestic flights and car rentals arranged perfect as well. Thank you for this beautiful and relaxed experience of South Africa. We recommend Viatu to everybody who wants to have a unique, relaxed and perfect stay in South Africa.”

“We loved almost everything of this trip. The drive was extremly beautiful, filled with exceptional views of the outstanding nature of south africa. It was the best decision to choose you as a travel agency to design our honeymoon trip and we will absolutely go for another vacation with you!! The only thing we did not like as much was our stay in wilderness especially in the treedom villas. The owner still was super lovely but we just felt like it was a) not so clean (the shower was moldy, the sheets were dirty and the accommodation didn’t have a nice scent… and b) we didn’t enjoy the road that leads to the accommodation. Also the area wasn’t sooo nice and we either could’ve left after one night or drive directly all the way to plettenburg bay. We considered booking a different accommodation after we arrived there but we took it as a challenge :) we understand that you don’t know much about our preferations considering the level of luxus we like in our hotels. The other ones were stunning!!! Thank you so much! We are already looking forward to our next trip with you 😊”

“I really appreciated Viatu’s approach to our trip and was very pleased with their service and flexibility throughout the planning process. We were a group of four traveling for a milestone trip to Namibia and South Africa and Viatu created a once in a lifetime experience for us at each spot along our trip. “My honest review: our 17 day trip to Namibia and Botswana was arranged by Viatu. It was disappointed. In Namibia, we had a rental and we're self driving. We were put to some of lodges barely had any visitors. Especially Kifaru, it took us nearly two hours to drive a 24 km on a very bumpy gravel road and we were constantly worried to get flat tires. It’s impossible to visit Waterbeeg plateau park as Viatu itinerary suggests. All the lodges were long drive(45 minutes to 1 hour one way) to the places we were supposed to visit. In Botswana, we were sold the package local lodge provided to Viatu. The concierge suggested we enjoyed Boteti river since there were a day we had nothing to do. Little did he know that Boteti river had been dried for more than ten years. There’s no wildlife in the dry river. The Boteti tended lodge was three hours drive to Moremi National Park and two hours and a half from Okavango Delta one way. The foods at lodge were not good and barely enough. We had nothing to do upon on arrival day at 12:30 pm. The fourth day we spent the whole day wailing for a 45 minutes helicopter ride at 4:00 pm. There’s absolutely nothing to do at the lodge. The lodge was pretty empty. Then we were transported to Leopard Plains which is one hour away. We were the only two guests there. At least we had a waterhole to look at antelopes for the whole day. For some reason, our meals were not included so we had to pay $25 per person for lunch and $35 per person for dinner plus a tented room charges over $300 it is definitely overpriced. We used Viatu because it had good reviews. We hope that we can rely on their knowledge and expertise in the region that we are not familiar with to have a great trip. Instead they sold us an expensive itinerary maybe to make money from lodges and us.”

“We interviewed 3 travel companies for our trip to South Africa. We chose Viatu because we felt Mardi listened to what we wanted to see and do. She planned around those things. She also suggested some things we didn't know about and we were pleased with her suggestions. She suggested accommodations that were good to unbelievable. Staying in lodges located in unfenced game reserves was an incredible experience. We didn't expect to see rhinos but we did. We didn't expect to see a herd of 4-500 water buffalo but we did. We never thought we would be so close to lounging lions but we were. We saw all of the big 5. Two of our stays were on rivers and the more spectacular one was on an island in the Zambezi river. You felt like you were on a true African safari with a luxury tent and even an outside shower. A beautiful balcony overlooking the river where you could see hippos and elephants coming down to the water. Excellent food and outstanding people taking care of us. In the wine country we were in a large luxury suite with a sweeping view of vineyards disappearing up into the mountain foothills. We weren't sure we wanted to see Cape Town, but Mardi encouraged us to spend a few days. Kirstenbosch gardens had a wonderful display of unique flora. Table Mountain had beautiful views of the city. Robben Island allowed us to understand some South Africa's history better. The Cape Peninusla offered peniguins, seals, ostriches, and great views. We highly recommend Viatu for helping us have an amazing trip!”
