“We were on our first round trip through Namibia as a couple in June 2024. We planned this with Alexeja. After a 30-minute Video call, she put together a round trip based on our ideas, wishes and her great recommendations. This included planning the individual stops and lodges, recommended activities and the transfer, as we were unsure about driving ourselves. Before and during the trip, Alexeja, Rea and Alessandro were great at supporting us by email, WhatsApp and phone and got back to us within a very short time. Even when challenges arose, you could quickly reach someone from the Vitu team and a great solution was found immediately. Everything worked out so well that we spent 17 wonderful and unforgettable days in Windhoek, Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, Damaraland, Etosha and Okapuka. This country has so much to offer, from desert and colonial cities to wildlife and stargazing, that there is something for almost everyone. We are overjoyed to have experienced this trip and are already planning our next African adventure with We Design Trips and Viatu. Thanks again to the whole team!”

“We did a short self-driving tour of southern Namibia. Viatu’s recommendations for accommodation were very good, with the Fish River Lodge being absolutely spectacular. Beyond that, customer service from Reabetsoe Mongale and Alessandro Giudice was exemplary. Would use Viatu again with great confidence.”

“Super happy with the service received! Mardi assisted us with the original planning of the trip and she managed to give us everything we needed and still keep it within our budget. She also responded very quickly which made it easier for us to plan and book very fast. All of our reservations and bookings made through Viatu worked seamlessly and didn't give us any trouble at all. The website they use while doing the trip planning as well as the app with your itinerary after the booking are both so useful and easy to use! Definitely those extra touches that make you feel the service is above and beyond! Will definitely use their services again. Please add more countries to your list so we can use your services more often :)”

“Extremly well organized Great route, with wonderfull contrast from desert with dunes to coast, mountains, animals in Etosha and the big rivers in Caprivi and the Victoria falls as last highlite Nice selection of lodges Very frieldly staff all over the journey Helpfull staff from the rental car company Namib2Go - due to a damage in the rear window, the car was replaced within one day. “We appreciated the documentation of the tour with Travel Key. The exact details of the accommodation and the driving tours from accommodation to accommodation were very helpful. The hotels or lodges booked were first class. We always felt welcome. Our highlights: Walking up a dune in the Namib Rand Natural Reserve, the hot air ballon ride and breakfast in the desert, the kayak tour to the hundreds of seals at Swapkopmund, the Molo-Mola ride to the dunes, the Etendeka overnight walking trail, sleeping under the night sky, the game drives, the very friendly reception at the lodges, the excellent and delicious cuisine, the varied and endless width of the landscape.”

“Wir sind gerade von unserer Traumreise aus Südafrika zurück, die Planung mit Viatu hat zu 100% geklappt : Gardenroute Selbstfahrer Familie mit 2 Kindern (12+6) für 2 Wochen. Die Auswahl der Hotels und Lodges mit Familienzimmern war perfekt, jede Unterkunft war anders und hatte seinen eigenen Charme. Alle Unterkünfte waren sehr kinderfreundlich, Marks's Camp im Lalibela war der Favorit unserer Kinder. Vielen Dank an Simone und Viatu für die Planung, bis zum nächsten Mal !”

“I booked a custom made 11 day trip through Namibia. There were a few hiccups along the way, but they were dealt with and smoothed out by the Viatu team. Overall, my experience working with Alex on the team was incredible! She made the itinerary very straightforward and easy to follow the entire way, and advised me so much on what to do in each of the places that I visited. I feel she went above and beyond to make my trip as seamless as possible, and I really appreciate that. Overall, great job by the team.”

“We had an amazing trip to South Africa and enjoyed every moment of it! Viatu was able to fulfill our wishes and needs at all times which wasn't always easy since we were traveling with a 1 year old. One of the highlights was definitely the 2 nights at Garden Route Game Lodge where we stayed at the amazing villa with a private pool. The game drives were super nice and the staff was super helpful and charming. Thanks to everyone for making our family trip one of a kind!”

“The whole experience was very pleasing and satisfactory, from booking to the actual journey incl. concierge support. The trip you suggested was well balanced (also for our budget) regarding accomodations offering a luxurious but unpretentious experience in Franschhoek/Quartier Francais, a more urban experience with great and very kind service in Cape Town/Home Suites Sea Point and, last but not least, an outstanding exprience at Klaserie Reserve/Camp George which was the highlight by far. Personally, this was my first safari and I couldn't have it imagined more entertaining, insightful and adventurous. We had a flight delay and you organized that we still managed to join ther very first game drive which was already spectacular. Generally, the game drives (especially due to our guide Jacques) were breathtaking and lots of fun, allowing us to discover the unique wilderness, beauty and sheer size and depth of Klaserie Reserve. We didn't just 'tick the Big 5 box', but learned a lot about different animals and species and also the needs and challenges for wildlife preservation. Game George/Simbavati was s superb accomodaton with kind, great service and delicious food (and drinks). The final dinner in the bush was the culinary highlight and will stick to our memories. Besides this, we also learned about the Camp's Story and the Founder's egagegmenet with charity (supporting local communities with education etc.) + lots of caring for it's own staff. This made the whole epxerience even better. All in all, this trip made an impact for us and we're more than happy to bock again with you.”
