“Replaced an old Potterton boiler with a Vitodens 100-W Combi 5 years ago, best thing I've ever done, and its now payed for itself. It's been running like a dream, halved my gas bill and electricity bill dropped by about 30% with the high efficiency pump. A lot of these reviews on here reflect the quality of installation, and not the boiler manufacturer, so always use a Viessmann Trained Installer, that's my little piece of advice.”

“Boiler 6 years old.Had 1 part reolaced within a year.Had 2 parts replaced 2 years ago.Engineer just replaced another 2 and off to find a third now. No heating or hot water all week.Worst thing I ever purchsed.😣”

“Only had the boiler 5 years then we had no heating and no hot water we had a new circuit board put in and a few weeks later same problem Gas man came out said it was our new circuit board? 21/12/18 (cost £400) waited two weeks as it was the festive season (not the best time to be without hot water or heating and we are both pensioners) phoned gas man, said he got in touch with Viessman and they are going to sort it out (03/01/19) still waiting? Mrs and Mrs Kaye”

“In comparison with the competitive companies I considered Viessmann have been very professional, prompt and thorough. The response time for answers to my queries during the process has been exempliary. The equipment looks good and is very quiet. If the boiler performs as well as the people behind it I can foresee little or no problems,”

“I was told 2 years ago how good Viessmann boilers were. But of course every plumber has a favourite. However, more than one plumber told us about Viessmann, so we went ahead. For 2 years the boiler has been absolutely fantastic. We went for a Combi boiler, which did away with the hot water cylinder system. Great. Here comes the however. Oh!! I here you say. On Christmas eve the boiler did not come on first thing in the morning. Oh No!!! Contacted my plumber and he came out and suspected that the PCB was faulty. As the unit was covered by a 5 year warranty, he contacted Viessmann support team. This was around 9am and at 11am the Viessmann engineer was knocking on my door. Boiler was fixed before 12 noon. Things do go wrong with equipment, but if I can get service like that, I don't care. I would rather buy a product from a company with a good back up service, rather someone who does not consider the second sale or whether they will get recommended. I would 100% recommend Viessmann. Well done.”

“Boiler installed quickly enough. Had trouble with it cutting out but, after the installer tried a few tricks and I reset it a few times over a couple of weeks, it seems to be fine. The Nest thermostat started to lose contact with the box beside the boiler but I moved it slightly closer to another wi-fi source and that seems to have fixed it. The water flow and temperature are improved over my last Worcester Boch boiler.”

“The Vitodens 100-W boiler we had installed in June 2015 has performed very well. The 'Automatic Air Vent' was replaced promptly under warranty in 2017. The Vitotrol 100 room thermostat/controller that came with the boiler is, however, clunky, complicated and difficult to use compared to controllers I've had on other boilers. For this reason, 4 stars overall rather than 5. If you do buy a Viessmann boiler, I recommend not fitting this room thermostat/controller.”

“I am very happy with the new boiler and the installation. The only proviso was that the new boiler case was heavily marked (scratches) when the engineer took it out of the box and it had to be replaced after installation.”
