Virgin Experience Days was launched in March 2001 under the name of Virgin Experience. Originally offering experiences to corporate clients as a way of incentivising staff and customers, the company rapidly expanded to bring the Virgin values of quality, innovation, value for money and fun to the consumer experience gift market.
The summer of 2003 was a real milestone for Virgin Experience. In our continual quest to bring the best experiences and unrivalled service, we joined forces with Acorne Sports. Founded in 1988, Acorne Sports is the original experience company and it’s their stamp of approval that confirms our pedigree and ability to deliver unforgettable experiences. Acorne ’s unrivalled reputation, knowledge and relationship with all of the featured centres made them the perfect partners for Virgin Experience, a company dedicated to making sure customers have the very best time. “Took the following cars for a 3 mile spin: 1. Aston Martin DB11 2. Nissan GTR 3. Audi R8 4. Ferrari 430 Spider 5. Lamborghini LP560 Instructors were fantastic. Video footage is pricey and the quality is archaic - put your money towards an upgrade. "Aston Martin DB11 is a must!" Try a 3 mile taster to get a feel for the track before you drive. This way you'll get the most out of your drives.”

“My daughter bought a helicopter flight for my husband in November 2016, as he didn't want to go alone he bought me one total cost over £300. The only local flight that interested us was over York. When we tried to book with Adventure 001 there were only 2 flights in the whole of 2016, May and August bank holiday Monday. We booked the one in May, this was cancelled on the day due to bad weather but we were assured there would be lots of other opportunities. There was still only the one in August so we booked that. This flight was cancelled for some unknown reason even though the weather was fine. The only other day this year is from a different airfield in October on a day we cannot make due to a prior engagement so we asked Virgin to transfer the vouchers to a hotel stay. They have refused until we have had 3 cancelled flights. As we now have to wait until next April for the next available flight this means they have had our money for 18 months for nothing. Terrible customer service from Virgin and Adventure001. My advice is to go elsewhere.”

“It was very relaxing, staff were super friendly and helpful and the facilities were clean and not crowded at all. Our treatments were booked separately but on the day they managed to get them together so it left us more time to chat afterwards.”

“It was very relaxing, the spa was not crowded, it was clean and staff were super friendly and very helpful. Initially we were booked 1 treatment after each other, but on the day they managed to get our treatments timed together which was great as it gave us more time to chat afterwards.”

“Despite the weather being typically British, armed with umbrellas, we both had a fantastic day at Kew Gardens, such a beautiful relaxing place. Was sad to find the Temperate Greenhouse and Pagoda under repair but despite this a full day was had with many things to look at when we plan to return next Spring when the aforementioned is reopened. Loved it.”

“It advertises a Day but it was in fact a couple of hours. We couldn't have the full body massage advertised and my friend and I had to have matching treatments. The Spa area is tiny consisting of 2xhot tub, sauna and steam with seating for 4 people (there were 6 in attendance). Changing rooms are 'compact' too. A nice couple of hours but certainly not a relaxing spa 'Day'. The treatments we did receive were ok, but not great. Would not recommend.”

“£349 + £70.00 upgrade for a better choice of cars, which I booked to do at Brands Hatch Race Circuit was cancelled few weeks before it took place, as the third party company went bankrupt. Awful customer service, couldn't get through and when I did, only wanted to offer a lesser value package at a different location. Unhelpful to deal with, made it seem to be my fault so has left a bitter taste. The ease of booking is the only plus but when it all went wrong a nightmare to rectify. Avoid, Avoid”

“The day out on the Bluebell Railway and Wakehurst Place brought back mamy happy memiories it was so nice to visit again after 20 years.”
