About Virgin Experience Days:

Virgin Experience Days was launched in March 2001 under the name of Virgin Experience. Originally offering experiences to corporate clients as a way of incentivising staff and customers, the company rapidly expanded to bring the Virgin values of quality, innovation, value for money and fun to the consumer experience gift market.
The summer of 2003 was a real milestone for Virgin Experience. In our continual quest to bring the best experiences and unrivalled service, we joined forces with Acorne Sports. Founded in 1988, Acorne Sports is the original experience company and it’s their stamp of approval that confirms our pedigree and ability to deliver unforgettable experiences. Acorne ’s unrivalled reputation, knowledge and relationship with all of the featured centres made them the perfect partners for Virgin Experience, a company dedicated to making sure customers have the very best time. By teaming up, we are able to challenge the way every experience is provided and offer once-in-a-lifetime gifts backed up by friendly service staff with first-hand knowledge.

“I wasn't sure what to expect. The tour was very informative, not to detailed for those that are new to cricket, guide very friendly and knowledgable. Wonderful surroundings, the ability to move around the ground during the day was great. It meant we could move out of sun, different view of play. Minor points afternoon tea was lovely, but only half of the guests were able to sit at tables. We had to sit outside in the ground seating. There was room for more tables to be set. Few other food choices open although there were lots there.”

“Have had a few Virgin gift experience vouchers, 2 of those were great and I’d recommend, however 1 of them was not so good and wouldn’t look at twice now. Good variety of experiences and simple and easy to book.”

“My sister and I had a lovely day! Massage was nice, two hot tubs, a big pool, lovely grounds to sit in and the staff were all very friendly. Afternoon tea was nice as well, plenty of it to enjoy! All in all a very enjoyable day out.”

“A great day out to see the palace and estate Afternoon tea in the orangery was very special, the service was Superb The gin cocktail was lovely A really nice day out as birthday treat for my mum Parking was easy. A really good experience. Parking really easy”

“Very good experiences. The trouble with a lot of them is they leave you wanting more! I have been on various experiences including flying and racing mostly, and they all have been pretty accurately described, never been disappointed!”

“Thoroughly enjoyed my experience of the shard and meal at a Marco Pierre restaurant. There were a couple of improvements that stop this from being a 5 star. I would say that it wasn’t super easy to book- you had send an email to check availability at the shard and then book online/phone for the Marco Pierre. When I went to re-log in to my account with my voucher it said it had already been used so I couldn’t access the information I needed for the restaurant. Once all booked it was great but another improvement could be to make it clear that the closest restaurant is 20 minutes away from the Shard.”
