About Virgin Experience Days:

Virgin Experience Days was launched in March 2001 under the name of Virgin Experience. Originally offering experiences to corporate clients as a way of incentivising staff and customers, the company rapidly expanded to bring the Virgin values of quality, innovation, value for money and fun to the consumer experience gift market.
The summer of 2003 was a real milestone for Virgin Experience. In our continual quest to bring the best experiences and unrivalled service, we joined forces with Acorne Sports. Founded in 1988, Acorne Sports is the original experience company and it’s their stamp of approval that confirms our pedigree and ability to deliver unforgettable experiences. Acorne ’s unrivalled reputation, knowledge and relationship with all of the featured centres made them the perfect partners for Virgin Experience, a company dedicated to making sure customers have the very best time. By teaming up, we are able to challenge the way every experience is provided and offer once-in-a-lifetime gifts backed up by friendly service staff with first-hand knowledge.

“This experience day was a gift for our Ruby wedding anniversary and was an excellent day out. The Thames boat trip was a unique way to view London. The three course meal at The London steak house was was excellent and included a glass of champagne, the staff were friendly and made our visit special knowing that we were celebrating. We would definitely recommend this experience.”

“Fantastic day. The shard is well worth a visit. Not rushed could stay as long as you wanted. Restaurant was a bus ride away. Great food and excellent service. We paid extra for the vip deal. This included wine, sides, water, tea or coffee and the service charge. So nothing more to pay. It was a fantastic way to celebrate my 60th birthday.”

“Once the booking was completed-which could of been easier to navigate with activation codes then more codes & phone calls to make the booking,the experience itself was great,no hassles at all,bookings correctly made,tickets waiting & all went very smoothly,restaurant was great-food & service excellent & no problem with the bill as we’d ordered extra course & sides/drinks.”

“Stayed here Friday 23rd for one night. The hotel has a lovely warm feeling not just from the four open log fires but a sense of being lived in. It's lovely and welcoming. We booked in under a virgin voucher and were shown the hotel and to our room by the receptionist (nice touch). We were given room 34, which is beautifully decorated, with a ensuite, which is also lovely but both feel a little cramped and the view is not the best. We had a meal in the restaurant which was amazing 5 courses (£52pp) beautiful quality of food starting with a prestarter of chowder and warm cheese and chive roll, followed by duck starter, then lamb main, with predessert of lemon sorbet and coconut followed by the chocolate and pear dessert. We were very full after our meal and retired to bed where we had a very comfortable night's sleep. Woke up to birds chirping and lovely Nespresso coffee in room. After we packed bags went for breakfast down stairs and again food was very good. Really enjoyed the stay here would recommend to anyone.”

“We went on the Wembley Stadium Tour and everything was fantastic !!!! The atmosphere was like you were that famous footballer who was just going to make your appearance on that iconic pitch. So glad we also booked for my son to come along - he said it was the best day of his life”

“Really friendly staff. Had lunch in the Pavilion overlooking the fountains. Good selection & generous portions. Catered for dietary needs too. Kids loved finding out about the different types of trees & got to plant a tree each. Plenty of fun in the maze & mini golf. Love the treehouse & walking across the wobbly bridges. Already looking forward to our next visit.”
