Virgin Experience Days was launched in March 2001 under the name of Virgin Experience. Originally offering experiences to corporate clients as a way of incentivising staff and customers, the company rapidly expanded to bring the Virgin values of quality, innovation, value for money and fun to the consumer experience gift market.

I received a Virgin Experience Days voucher as a gift, and loved it. I received an afternoon tea at a local hotel, and it was delicious. I was told by the purchaser that it was only valid for 6 months, so I booked up straight away. I will be back again!

We had a voucher for a London Theatre & Hotel over night stay. We did find getting through to the booking office took a long time but once we finally got to speak to someone (Helenie)she was more than helpful. We chose to see the show Wicked and we did wonder would we be given ( top price on the day tickets) as expected and sure enough we had brilliant seats. The hotel Central Park in Queensway was a great location. Very helpful staff. Rooms lovely everything we needed. Peaceful sleep. The only thing we felt Virgin experience could have booked was a full breakfast but we had a continental option for the sake of an extra £5 each I felt it was a bit of a let down. Having said that the breakfast we had was enjoyable. I had read negative reports on this hotel but my option is I would definitely stay again. We actually booked an extra night so that tells you something.

This star rating is for the customer service that I received after my son had a serious knee injury preventing him from using his driving experience voucher before the expiry date. I nearly didn't bother asking because of the negative reviews I'd read about voucher expiry (after all - the voucher did clearly state the expiry date), but I'm glad I did! A lady by the name of Lauren could not have been more helpful and the voucher was extended free of charge. I don't know why (or if) the service I received was any better than other people, but I can only report on my own experience. I have to admit that my son is yet to use the voucher, so I hope that he doesn't encounter any problems at that point. Either way, I will be back with a further review.

I called Virgin this afternoon as I had a voucher that I had unfortunately let expire. The lady I spoke to was extremely helpful and processed a new voucher for me straight away! Paid £20 but my voucher is worth £220 so well worth it. Would definitely use again.
