Vodacom business wireless air, Useless, 5month no fix for poor download speeds high latency and intermittent connection. All I am getting is “We will escalate” I have no idea how they get away with this. Also cancellation not an option they wil just ignore you. Please don’t sign up with Vodacom

Nearly 3 decades of loyalty and a sound track record with Vodacom South Africa and their frill and thrill of calling clients red premium etc etc is just a load of hogwash. I have currently 3 of ny contracts which are due for uogrades and boy o boy won't yoh get the Vodacom hounds from retentions and rewards nag a person to no end. Firstly my interactions with a salesman who raw and uncut anc to listen ti a real fishmarket call their retentions and knock yourself out. The week long drama of calls which go on for an hour on average just to find out alk time wasted cos the deals don't exist and other nonsensical excuses. 13 different consultants but no one is able to transfer you to the person responsible or a manager. Service is gone to the dogs with a load of unskilled sales and management crew. Vodacom you have becone Vodadom! Stop messing around with clients

I will never ever recommend Vodacom to anyone. These people took my money twice and never issued a refund. The first consultant I got hold of, laughed and said to me that Vodacom will never help me and Vodacom proved him right. Disgusting to say the least.

Did 2 upgrades in the space of a month 1st Feb upgrade no 1 started and 1st Mar 2nd upgrade took effect I've been a vodacom customer for many a year now Anyway yesterday 1st Mar I get 2 smses from Vodacom yesterday informing me that the prices on these 2 CONTRACTS were being increased Increases are not decided on the spur of the moment especially in a big corporate company These things are decided a few months before so in all likelyhood it was already built into my new contract pricing They pulled this stunt last year blaming the pandemic and despite a backlash they ve done the same thing this year Tells uou they just dont care When I phoned yesterday which was a mission on its own I was told it was a shareholders decision What nonsense Shareholders dont decide these things Also because of loadshedding and get a load of this because of the theft of stationery They went onto to tell me there is nothing I can do about this Really we've got the tail wagging the dog here I was currently negotiating with Vodacom for fibre installation Guess what they blew that one right out of the window Not going to happen In summary you are in BREACH of your contract Your service sucks That frikking robot I have to talk to is an idiot Your call centre operation is a disaster You don't care about your customer base You keep doing the same ratings and surveys over and over but change nothing Its called going through the motions of cellophane packaging of your products and business that's all nothing more e.g. They wrote to me and welcomed me to being a red premium customer Who cares the way I feel I dont even want to be your customer but I have a contract which I am bound to As they say the empire strikes back In closing you are just another bunch of corporate muppets

Vodacom – Bad Service I’ve been a loyal Vodacom customer for 15 years, I never even had a single thought to move to a different Service Provider until just recently. Last year I received a call for an upgrade for my router and at first I wasn’t really interested but the deal they sold sounded so good, I thought why not, this will help me to work remotely when I need to. The contract was effective 30 September 2022 and to date (13 Feb 2023) the router could be activated even after I took it Canal Walk branch and more than on assistant was helping. The technicians could not assist me and advised me to book it in for repairs BUT they needed proof of purchase because they could not pick up the device on their system. I was confused and said “but you sold this device to me” how is it you cannot find it on your system? You have been billing for me for this device for all this time and now you say you can’t find proof on your system that purchased it from you?? So you’ve been merrily happy to take my money even while I could not use the device and it was not even activated. How are you even taking my money for a device that is not activated??? They were totally helpless, all they said was “ma’am you need to contact Customer Care and get us the proof of payment before we can book it in for repairs.” The next day I contacted Customer Care, who was helpless and told me to contact Vodacom Rewards, who was also helpless and told me to Elite Mobile who still was not able to provide me with proof payment…? What exactly is this? I’m being told to go from one point to another, nobody really able to help and shed light, and yet I am the one paying for data every month, data which I cannot access due to a defective device from Vodacom. If I miss one payment Vodacom would be all over me, but they are inadequately equipped to provide proper customer service. At this point I’m just furious and want to cancel the contract BUT they want R6000 for a premature cancellation…What’s next Vodacom?

I have been a client of Vodacom for 27 years, never had a default in 27 years so I see myself as a loyal client. I have a couple of contracts so almost every year I get contacted by phone by a company from Durban, stating that they are calling as a partner of Vodacom and I have an upgrade available. They give you such a performance on how this is going to reduce your monthly bills etc etc. Come the month thereafter your bill is SKY High, and BOY, the fun starts. No Mr Kotze you spoke to so and so and you have to deal with them, I am so sorry for the inconvenience caused....blah blah blah. It is a s&&% show from hell, and don't you ever think they would offer you discount for being loyal, oh no. I cannot wait for my contracts to end because I have been abused enough!! Try and get hold of those who helped!! I dare you.

Their internet speed is pathetic. I tested it a few times, it's 0.40 Mbps, which is the second slowest on Earth, South Sudan is the slowest. I keep getting these messages on my screen: "No internet." "Google unexpectedly closed the connection." Facebook cannot be found." What's next? "Elvis has just left the building."? They obviously throttle the bandwidth, it's taken me HOURS to connect to the web. On some occaisons, there's no signal for DAYS. When I call 082135 I get transferred, eventually get a reference number, and two days later, another reference number, telling me the matter is CLOSED. My data and airtime just VANISHES. If I take an airtime advance for R5.00 they charge R1.00 for the service. Corporate crooks.

I have no service for 3weeks now. Tried several times to contact Vodacom. Without success. I cant phone or sms. Cant receive calls and sms s either. Im want to cancel my contract.

DO NOT USE VODACOM. They charge whatever they choose, even if you are on contract, and they then steal your data. When you try to call to resolve issues you find yourself dealing with the stupidest, most unhelpful people on the planet. You will be transferred from department to department and cut off repeatedly, until you eventually give up. You will hold on for hours. Contracts mean nothing to them. Undoubtedly the worst service provider in the country. There are no words to describe how unethical and incompetent they are.

I got a call from Vodacom Upgrade offering upgrades at minimum additional charges only to find out I was signed up for a new contract. Sent device back when realising this in June 2022. Sadly to say I'm still paying for the device I no longer have. One excuse upon the next. Shocking to say this happened now twice. I won't recommend Vodacom to anyone. Don't care what they respond but this is what happened to me. Going to cancel my current subscription as soon as possible and going to go over to new supplier. No one deserves this additional stress, anxiety and unplanned expenditures. Sooo upset

Having been a customer of approx. 20 years, I called in today to do an upgrade only to be told that due to changes in their T's and C's, I would have to pay an additional R600 to R800 per month to get exactly what I have on my exisiting contract. Completely ridiculous and Vodacom will be losing many a loyal client including myself.

Order a contract on Black Friday, only after contacting Vodacom after a week do I now here they sold a contract to which they have no stock of the device...

Worst customer service ever. I got a call to upgrade, went ahead with it and no upgrade was done after trying to get a status on it for 2 weeks because when they call, they hang up. I finally got through chat, having to wait 10min+ for 1 reply. The agent had a bad attitude too, claiming they do 8+ chats at a time. If you can't handle 8 chats then don't do it, customers can't wait 10+ min for a response, that is unheard of and pathetic customer service. I've tried calling too, but that was a waste of my time and breath. I will never recommend Vodacom. See the screenshots, I'm still waiting on a reply 20min later. What a joke. I want to cancel my contract, and since it's so difficult to do, you're basically taking my money and scamming people. 0 stars if I could.

Applied for a relocation over a month ago. 1. It was logged under the wrong SP 2. Got an incorrect quote 3. No one picked this up everytime I followed up until this week 4. Still not sorted 5. And there is nothing they can do to help 6. Applied for an interim solution - they told me I can’t get that either. I have been on the phone with Vodacom everyday for the past week more than twice a day but still nothing

I have a Vodacom contract for 5 years now..I applied for a home internet bundle this morning for R550pm, Vodacom replied in the afternoon and said that Im approved but do not qualify. I found this strange because i have a good credit score, I don't miss any payments, whether it's with Vodacom or any other service provider. I phoned Vodacom to find out why and they stated its because of my low credit score.. according to them it's below 300 and I can only qualify for a deal below R200 a month. This is actually dumb because the contract phone I have with them I'm paying R620pm. My contract is due for an upgrade soon and I wonder if they're gonna have an issue with that too. Out of curiosity checked my credit score and it's 673 out of 705. I previously had a telkom package which I was paying R950 a month and they didn't ever have an issue. I spoke to 6 different consultants and nobody could assist. Vodacom is incredibly difficult to deal with and if you want headaches then go to them.

We use fixed data lines for our internet connection. It has now been down for longer than 48 hours and still they cannot provide us with an ETA! Do not consider Vodacom for business purposes.

Vodacom's customer service system is appalling and highly ineffective. With an ongoing problem you end up having to explaining the SAME problem over and over again to different people every time you follow up. When the person you spoke to initially doesn't do the thing they said they were going to do, you end up completely stuck, with no proof of your conversation. There is nothing ever put in writing. This is not fun for either their customers or their employees who have to spend time figuring out your problem from scratch each time and endure your increasingly growing wrath.

I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I was charged extra content services that I never consented to and when I asked to block them the same charges would be back in the next month meaning i had to pay vodacom money for a service i don't even use. Their call centre is a joke i have been calling since Friday and sending emails to no avail. The only thing they know is to send you through to the next call centre agent. My issue is yet to be resolved since 09/09/2022. Wouldn't recommend it. After sending countless emails and speaking to what feels like a 100 agents my issue is yet to be resolved. Definitely rate them a 0 out of 10.

I purchased a phone online with Vodacom in July, I returned the phone within 3 days. In July Vodacom took R669 from my account for the phone as it was on contact. They acknowledged that the phone was returned. Yet they have not returned my money. I've called their customer care line for almost 2 months now, and it's September and they still have not returned my money. Pathetic company. Quick to take but take forever to return what is rightfully mine. I will never use Vodacom again. I'm also changing my wifi services that I use with this ridiculous company.
