Here is a quick summary of my Vodacom delema: I have had problems since I got the Home Internet in 2023, and from End of April 2024 I HAVE HAD NO INTERNET WHATSOEVER. As you can see below, I have made every possible effort to assist Vodacom to help me sort out this problem.. But today, 23 October 2024, I still have no internet, not even a router!! If my order of things is a bit mingled up, I am sorry. I tried to put it in chronological order as best I could. I have a Home Internet - 30 Mbps contract including a ZTE router. Since day 1 when the router and sim was delivered I had problems. The internet would come on and off. I received some help over the phone from a technician, but the internet would come and go and I had to restart the router multiple times a day. The speed was good (28-50Mbps), but I had to keep on restarting and resetting the router, sometimes multiple times a day! I took the router and sim to local vodacom shop (can’t remember dates unfortunately), who sent it away. A few weeks later I got a “new" router, with the same problem. 19 Oct 2023 linespeed test was 0.6 Mbps Download & 0.14 Upload. Reported to local shop. 21 Oct 2023, Internet better, but still had to reset router every few hours… 17 Nov 2023 - No or terribly slow internet reported to shop. Gave me Service Request Reference: 5-**********1862 24 Nov 2023 - NO INTERNET AT ALL! Reported to Customer care and local shop. 01 Des 2024 - Internet between 0 and 6.8 Mbps at best. Now for a period of time I had internet, but still had to reset router. 26 April 2024 - Very bad speed - 4.48Mbps - Reported to local shop. Reply: Team found a faulty radio in Silwerboom Street. Said it would be fixed the Monday, 29 April 2024. 30 April - Vidacom Kuruman Manager lets me know that the linespeed is restored, my linespeed 0.33 Mbps Tuesday morning, later up to 4.37Mbps. Still not fixed. Kuruman manager reports this to James. Now since end of April 2024, I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO INTERNET, THE ROUTER DOESN’T EVEN CONNECT TO THE INTERNET! After no feedback here, and because I also have a Air B&B on the plot, out of sheer frustration, I just get internet from a local ISP. I call customer care and try cancelling my line. They tell me I will have to pay a penalty and I try to explain that it is Vodacom’s fault, why should I pay a penalty? Then they say they will do a reversal. I didn’t keep record of my calls to customer care until July 2024. I called Cancellations and customer support multiple times, 09 July - Londilwe - No results 09 Aug - Zimaza - No results, Tembeka and Keith - Everyone has a different story and sends me to a different department. No Results. 27 Aug - Report again to local Vodacom, get INC0I********** REFERENCE from the Kuruman manager which I give to Customer care - NO RESULTS 30 Aug - Sent this reference to Vodacom. Nothing happens! Now I try local Vodacom shop again - the Vodacom Kuruman manager. 09 Sept - Kuruman Vodacom manager tells me that Customer care Is cancelling my number. She fixes it on the system, escalates it to Critical. I give her permission to come and test the internet with a technician at my house. 10 Sept 2024 I hand in the router and the sim for the second time at local Vodacom shop. 11 Sept - she tells me Vodacom is busy with the resolution for the reversal. 17 Sept - I ask her whats going on, She says Vodacom says it is their tower - Promises they will come to my house. They are testing router in the shop. She says internet goes off after a while. Other technician says router works fine in that part of town, but they will come and test at my place. 18 Sept - Get an email from Vodacom, saying query with reference number 5-**********8619 has been attended to. STILL ZERO INTERNET! 02 October - I ask local shop for feedback. 03 Oct - Kuruman Vodacom Manager with Technician comes to test my router and sim, which they brought from the shop. NO INTERNET. I ask if they can bring another router. 04 Oct - Manager fwds msg “ There was increased RRC connection failures on sector 2&3 L1800 layer now cleared. Asks me to restart and test again. NO INTERNET. 07 Oct - Manager brings other router - THIS ROUTER WORKS FINE. Says she will ask permission to get me a new router. 08 Oct - She does a sim swop She does a sim swap for me. I test the my router again… No Internet. She takes my router, she says she will send it away and ask permission from I don’t know who, to get me an alcatel router.. I tell her I need a router that has ethernet ports, as I must connect to the router via ethernet. 15 Oct - I call Kuruman Vodacom Manager again, she still doesn’t have any answer for me… On the 15 October 24 I emailed all this to Kelebogile Malebo with no reply…😠 Now today, 23 Oct 2024 still no internet almost the end of the month where the debit order will go off again and still NO INTERNET!!!! Worst company with the worst customer service!!!

On the 24th of august i went to the vodacom store at signet terrace in lenasia applied for the iphone 15 128gb double everything went well got approved i was told come next week Saturday to collect the phones as it will be ready... the next Saturday get there and hear the guy resigned and did not order the phones i asked why wasnt i called or anything they lady said she was busy and told me come in the week by Wednesday the phones will be there... Wednesday pass i called the lady Thursday she told me definitely will have it by Saturday, i went in on Saturday and she was abit rude with me and told me we will call you when there is stock there is nothing now of any colors i said ok and left... the following week monday pass and Tuesday Wednesday i try calling because i saw online stock is available.. i called over 6 times no answer eventually i use my work phone and on the first ring the call was answered i asked the lady why she didnt answer my calls and she say shes so busy the other lady with the attitude did not come in today and i just asked them to cancel my contract and i applied online and cant wait so long and no good service at all or updates she said ok and still asked my reason for canceling and told her you guys are really bad with customer service... applied on line through vodacom online sales i called in everything went well the lady told me in the week i will get it nothing happent and another week goes by i call in the Monday through out the day while im at work these ladies are giving me wrong email addresses to sent my details some are just telling me to wait for the email and nothing comes through and another week goes by where im trying to call and no help... the following monday after that i call and get a hold of a lady named janine who was so helpful with the whole process i sent all my details she said the phones will be delivered in the week amd nothing i call in the next monday and asked to speak to janine get a hold of her and she said shes so sorry gave a stupid excuse and i was very understanding coz she helped but said it will be delivered before friday waited the whole week Thursday evening comes before i knocked off from work called in and asked for janine i was told janine is not in today and i asked to cancel my contract because this is just waste of time with no feedback.. so the lady named Lee who told me janine is off today said she would put me through to cancelations and what not and then cuts my call.. at this point im frustrated so i call back in and and janine answers and the first thing i asked her arent you suppose to be off and she changes the subject and i asked her why did lee lie to me and she ignores it but not knowing lee also told me that janine didn't submit my order to the warehouse since i placed the order online and that she cant submit it coz its janine whos dealing with it i asked if there is stock yes there is i even said i dont care what color as long as there is stock give me the contract but i was lied to all this time but i asked janine to cancel it and i will appie online on the website and she said ok... i then applied online told there was stock requested for a agent to call me back nothing the Wednesday i get a call from anoeska asking if i still want the double i said yes is there stock yes we have blue ok i will take it ok no problem send details again do the whole process everything goes well then i get a email from anoeska saiying i have to wait 72 hours for the contract to cancel she will call vodacom lenasia to cancel and then once its done give me a call and update me on when its coming today is the 12 October 2024 this past week went by and nothing still waiting but if anything vodacom online sales lie for each other and still talk each other bad and its sad this is what kind of workers vodacom chose to represent them very disappointed really do something about it guys

I used to use the Vodacom app to add data to my account which was simple and efficient. Now I have been forced into Vodapay which is not user friendly and does not give me the option of adding data billing to my account. I have to add my banking details to buy data. Annoying Vodacom, very annoying and not user friendly!!!!!

HOME LTE Router is rubbish, I always have to take it in for repairs it never has any network total waist of money.

I have been a Red Premium customer for years of Vodacom and have always upgraded via a telephone call, this time round Vodacom scammed me. They committed to give me 2 phones and a smart watch to upgrade my contract. I only received one phone, but my contract cost per month increased and my contract has always been 24 months, now it is 36 months and you can call them so many times, They are so I helpful and ask you to listen to recordings at a Vodacom branch that they apparently listended too, but if they did, they would hear that they committed to this deal. Even the recording I listened to proofs that they promised me all these items, I will cancel all my contracts when it is ending, you are unethical and I will not leave this here. If I could give a -10, I would, incompetent staff, you do not care about your customers and it is all about yourself and how you can make money of the consumer! Do not ever upgrade with Vodacom on the phone!

Very disappointed I took my phone in 2021 when my daughter was turning 21years ,I want to cancel the contract and they said I'm eligible to cancel 2025,is this really a game or what as if I'm paying for a car.

I was never treated like this by Vodacom all the years back from 1994 I received a call for upgrate. From 5G to 16G with new router from 1 October 2024. Ftom R97 to R149. But i agree on record R139 16G.... I even rectify my email adres l never received any emails. I was misleaded. Un profesional.... Im an pensioner.... On arrival shock 5G. Phone 0821946. Rectify again my e mail adres. Then Explain.... refer me to collection.... one person who cost my traveling to put on hold of mislead an elder person. For collection. Then after 3 days phone again ... for confirm. What a poor service after suport Vodacom for decades.. This mater needed senior managent attention... or maybe Social Media included 0 rating. Im waiting Vodacom Management

Ive been with Vodacom since 2005, over those years, the service has deteriorated to oblivion! Things were so much better when we still had people to talk to about queries. Your tobi idea is the biggest annoyance, the stores are a joke, the emails go unanswered, you call and no one knows how to help you. Its pathetic!

Yes this Vodacom of yours is useless, everytime I had to switch off data and on it again just to have a network, now I didn't finish my class because they can't wait for me to get network. If it wasn't for this phone I would've never use Vodacom, I had no choice because this phone use only Vodacom.

I have 4 Vodacom contracts. For a few weeks now we have had intermittent signal strength. I tried to send a complaint to the Vodacom Customer Services but their in box is full. I phoned them with my MTN number and their answering service at 135 asks me about my MTN number. Needless to say my MTN line works faultlessly. Vodacom needs to up their game!

Zero service. Cannot contact Vodacom. Blocked and disconnected by Customer Care. Response from emails "use Tobi". Dysfunctional - can only buy on Tobi. I cannot pay a company that has blocked me at every avenue! 26 years Customer - Vodacom must be closing down?

I'm writing to share my frustrating experience with Vodacom's contract service. I signed up for a phone contract for my son, opting for a R250 monthly payment plan based on my budget. However, I've consistently experienced over-deductions from my account, requiring me to query them every month. Additionally, I was not informed that the number would be set to private when receiving calls, which has caused inconvenience. I wish I had been fully informed about these aspects before signing the contract. I advise others considering a contract with Vodacom to carefully review the terms and conditions, and request that all details be clearly explained and recorded. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the monthly hassle and regret signing up for the contract. I hope Vodacom will address these issues and improve their customer experience.

I cancelled my contract and somehow it didn’t get cancelled. What sick game are you guys playing? Whatever you do please don’t take a contract with vodacom because cancelling ain’t easy
