“I installed volumio on Raspberry PI4 with DAC pro .....I am very impressed with the ease of installation and ofcourse the soundquality. Anyone looking for a perfect soundsystem should go to the volumio website and see what is possible for high-end hi-fi systems I absolutely recommend The volumio system. Rinus”

“I'm using Volumio free for some time now with home made streamer RPi4B + Khadas Tone board. Time after time it has some minor issues, but so far I really enjoy the listening. Advantage of home-made component - You just update your SW anytime You need... Unfortunately I don't have more time for listening. Otherwise I would even invest the premium version...”

“I have the Rivo+ with external power supply which takes it a good bit over the 1k I wanted to spend. Really glad I did. Use it with a quality steaming service to get the best out of it, and the better your DAC the more you'll enjoy it. I dont particularly like the 'digital' sound so have a quality valve DAC and it's taken me this long to find a proper streamer that delivers quality music.”

“I stepped over from BluOS nad to Volumio. BluOS plays radio as long as you want it. Volumio doesn’t. Radio isn’t made for Volumio, so I bought a Sonos for that. I’m happy. I use Qobuz and Apple Music for streaming. Also from a synology nas. From the synology it’s horrible to get it working. Mostly it doesn’t work, can’t connect to my nas. So then I use the Dlna function to play to the Volumio. That works. Sometimes it does connect to my nas, and that works good. I can easily browse via Volumio. Music via Qobuz is just good. Apple Music is sometimes difficult. Still not wanting to switch to an other platform, because that would be really expensive. Volumio on a rpi4 with a good power supply is exceptional good. Most streamers can’t compete. Since Volumio finally made direct play from Qobuz it’s just easier to play music. I love and hate it. Seen a lot of upgrades, and got better every time. The addition of CORRD was strange and expensive. It is an addition, but won’t extend my subscription to that.”
