“I have run it on raspberry PI and it works great. No luck on pc. The boot settings get corrupted upon restart. It may be my systems though, I’ve been trying to recycle older machines into something useful.”

“About a year ago I started with Volumio on a Raspy4 and a hifiberry Dac. Volumio is very flexible and esay to use. Albumcovers, Artistpictures and the webbrowser are working really fine on Laptop an smartphone. Because of the poor Soundquality of the Hifiberry Dac+ Pro now i changed to a Volumio Primo Hifi edition as Player and usb-bridge and use a matrix audio elemet x as Dac. The emenet x was imedyatly identifyed by the Primo. Soundquality now is fanthastic. I like the little infos to the artists and albums. Sure, there isn't as much information as there is with Roon, but for me it's exactly the right thing. I only wish for a few small tweaks for future updates. It should not only be possible to add individual tracks or albums at the end of the queue, but also next after the current song.”

“i run volimio on a RaspPi 3B+ to which i hooked up a HifiBerry Amp2 ... connected to my self-crafted 2-Way BassReflex Visaton speakers ... the sound is amazing! ... i like it very much ... i control it from my main pc when i sit @ my desktop ... but sometimes i also control it from my smartphone (android driven) i.e. when i'm in the bathroom or just chilling on my couch ... i've put a 64GB USB-Stick (very tiny form factor) in one of the 4 USB-ports for storing my music ... and i configured a samba-server via ssh on the rasp to get easily access to the stick from my pc ... working fine ... i also enjoy the capability for hearing internetradio ... may be i upgrade to MyVolumio in the future ... you volumio people did and do a very great work!”

“Dear Volumio team, I'm writing now after ca one month of using Primo and volumio on a raspberry for the second installation. Primo is really excellent sound as good as my separate DAC (ca 1.200 € same Sabre 9038) and allow me to enjoy all my liquid library also with DSD files. I'm also playng it with the external DAC with again excellent results. Volumio on raspberry works also very good. Both work with the APP (android)”
