“In July 2017 I went on a what a life tour of the Vatican. The tour ensured little waiting time into Vatican City and we avoided the huge lines. The tour itself was amazing! My instructor was very educated, easy to under and was descriptive but did not waffle on. She allowed us to enjoy everything for ourself! Thank you again”

“We took the Top of the Colosseum tour, that include the Forum and Palatine Hill. The views were excellent both inside and outside the structure which gave you an excellent perspective of Roman life. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and took her time with the information as well as answering our questions. The "skip the line" process was a very nice feature.”

“Top notch tour company. Very professional. Grant was our guide. He was very thorough with the history and facts of the vatican and he also added funny anecdotes that lightened the mood. He was fantastic. Thanks for a great tour!”

“We did two tours with What a Life Tours and found both to be very enjoyable, informative and worthwhile. We had the same tour guide for both the Coliseum and Vatican tours. Enrica made everything come to life for us! I highly recommend to everyone.”

“What A Life was the best tour we have taken as a family. Since we have younger kids, we did the accelerated tour of the Vatican museums, Sistine Chapel, and the Basilica. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable, as well as fun and witty. He engaged with the kids and adults. It was a great touch to meet at their office for a nice continental breakfast and a warm greeting. Everyone was very professional and friendly. Can't recommend enough.”

“What a lifesaver. I traveled with two friends all females as well as myself and had some concerns because this was an internet booking based on what I read.The airport pick up was on time and the driver was friendly, informative and very patient. He had to take us to a different location because our room was occupied by the previous tenant who got sick the day he was supposed to leave. He did so and waited to take us to the office where the tour was to start.The owner was also very nice and after verfying that I was catholic gave me tickets for the canonization of John Paul II. What a treat!!! The tour was perfect as was our "piano, piano" guide. She was knowledgeable,very informative and patient as well. We felt secure and attended every step of the way.I have nothing but praises for this company, highly recomend it without reservations”

“The tours were exceptional, Tuscany Day tour Montalcino, with Andy, was more than was expected, just running short of my Brunello supply, the Colosseum , Daniel knew his stuff. Catacombs interesting with Silvia, and the Vatican with Elaine, highly recommended. enjoyed it all.”

“Elaine was in charge of our Vatican tour. Estremely knowledgeable, easy to hear, even humourous at times. Loved it. Mario showed us the colloseum. Even though it was raining, we learned so much, and thoroughly enjoyed the process. Very personable and full of fun tidbits besides grounded facts.”

“We have scheduled two days of tours with What a Life Tours for next year and I had many questions regarding schedules and tour options. I have never had a tour company so accommodating and helpful as What a Life! They customized our tours for us, arranged hotel pick-ups and could not have been more friendly and personal. I cannot wait to actually meet them next year and do their tours. They will be outstanding I am sure!!”

“I would highly recommend "What a Life Tours" for anyone who plans to visit the Vatican/Sistine Chapel. The entrance to the site is an ordeal to navigate without a guide. I usually pride myself on managing on my own. It was such a luxury to be escorted by our guide, who kept us entertained throughout. Guiliani was very well versed in the history and current events of Roma and VC, and he had such respect for the art. He prepped us for the security check in, which was quite chaotic. Once inside, we spent time discussing the artwork so we could enjoy our experience. Although it was busy inside the Vatican museum, he expertly guided us to the important exhibits. Well worth booking this tour!”

“We enjoyed our Vatican and Colisseum tours! Our guides were absolutely friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We also use the transportation service option to get to the What a Life Offices. Our driver was on time and provided us with an overview of what to expect for our tour day. All in all it was a super day in Rome!”

“While we took the noon tour of the Colosseum in the heat of summer this tour was amazing! The tour guide was beyond knowledgeable and kept us in the shade as much as he possibly could. We didn't just learn about the Colosseum but also learned so much about the history of Rome too! The underground tour is worth it! Small group setting allowed us to really see and hear all about the Colosseum. Take this tour!”

“We had 2 wonderful tours with Mario. We went to an early viewing at the Vatican and a tour of the Colosseum. Mario was engaging, informative and very knowledgeable. He held the attention of our multi generational family, including 2 teenagers and a preteen. It was a great experience and everyone learned a lot from Mario. Anyone planning a trip to Rome will find " What a Life Tours " the tour group to book. Great job and the coffee at the early morning tour was a terrific bonus!”

“Our tour guide Mario was the greatest, incredible knowledge of the Vatican and everything Rome. We chose a hotel pickup as there were four adults but when we were done with our early entry Vatican tour "worth ever penny and more" It was raining very hard so Mario arranged for a van so we could get back to the hotel without getting wet. This act of kindness by Mario and Joseph will be the highlight of Rome. Many Thanks...Al Califano NJ USA”
