“We had two private tours with What A Life - the Sistine Chapel and Vatican and the Colosseum and Forum. Both of our tour guides were amazing and the experiences were fantastic. We went straight for the Sistine Chapel in the morning and got to experience it with only about a dozen other people there; a total treat. And my 7 year old twins were well accommodated on our Colosseum tour; our guide patiently answered all their questions and they loved the experience. I didn't get a single cry of "I'm bored." I would recommend What a Life Tours very highly for anyone coming to Rome.”

“Juliano's knowledge of the Vatican shone through as he weaved us in and out of the crowds seamlessly. Despite being a very experienced guide, he remained enthusiastic throughout the tour, and even encouraging us to ask more questions. We were really lucky to have a personal tour in replacement of our original tour. Will recommend!”

“We had a wonderful tour, sorry cannot remember the ladies name but we was amazing. She had a wealth of knowledge and explained everything and answered every question. I would highly recommed this tour.”

“I arranged 2 tours with What a Life - the Colosseum and the Vatican. They were extremely helpful during the booking process and helped me choose and gave me other information. The welcome at the offices near the Vatican was warm and friendly. The tour guides round the Vatican and Colosseum were friendly and knowledgeable and gave us lots of insight into both places. They answered lots of questions and brought to life both venues. The organisers and the guides all spoke wonderful English and were easy to understand and engage in conversation. I would use this company again without any reservation Ashley”

“This was the perfect tour of the Vatican! Ana was an amazing guide. Starting the tour early in the morning was perfect for us. We got to see all the main sites as well as some of the lesser known ones. Ana was very knowledgeable and she really knows the history. Do not hesitate to book this tour! I highly recommend it. “Elaine has a great handle on the art and history of Rome. We enjoyed our visit to the Vatican greatly. She bought the historical context into play and was knowledgeable about where to stand during our conversations - I know it sounds silly, but understanding and hearing the tour guide is important in a crowded environment like the Vatican!”

“Vincenzo did an amazing job. He was interesting and was always happy to answer questions. He addressed everyone by their name. It made you feel important. I highly recommend this company for tours. The headphones that amplified the guides voice were very helpful. I also think that they are very lucky to have a guide like Vincenzo.”

“What a Life Tours was a great experience. Made touring the Coliseum a very unique experience and the guide through Roman history on Paletine Hill was outstanding. Vincent was our guide and he was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable and the way he engaged the group of 14 made it very enjoyable and informative. I highly recommend this tour.”

“On a day that was extremely wet in Vatican City, Ana brightened it with her cheery and warming personality and an absolute wealth of knowledge which was shared and delivered with passion. She gripped our attention from the get go and managed to keep it for the full 2 hours. We will definitely be back and will be requesting Ana again. She was brilliant.”

“Both Angela (Vatican and Sistine Chapel) and Marco (Colosseum) were amazingly interesting, knowledgeable and professional. A big thank you for not leaving us behind for the early more beat the crowds tour when we got lost and arrived late. Everybody from the company was exceptional. Thanks for a great couple of days in Rome!”
