“The handgrips are amazing. The shipping was very fast. Easy to install; accept they did not send the flashy red screws with the grips. I didn't see where you had to pay extra for the red screws, I just thought they came as adverised in their pictures. So I had to use the guns exisiting screws. You are warned in the write up that a gunsmith aka a dremmel tool, will be required to make the flashy red scews fit. I never had a chance to trim them down because they didnt come with the grips. I wrote an email to Wicked Grips five days ago about not sending everything I thought I paid for but nobody will write back. Funny, they asked me for a review today so here it is.”
Sigh...
Its a sad state of affairs when a customer needs to leave a bad review because they made an error and refuse to own up to it.
First... we are very very clear in the ad that the screws are not included. We cannot help it if you did not read it, as you admit you didn't. We didn't "advertise" free screws anywhere in the photo. The grips also are shown on the gun, did you think that was free as well?
Second.. there is nothing.. absolutely nothing in our product information that tells you that you have to dremel our products to make them fit.
the ad informs that our CZ75 screws do not fit the DAN WESSON DWX without modification, which they do not. We do not advertise any of our CZ-75 screws for anything other than CZ products that use that specific screw. The ad merely informs those that have a DWX that if they want to use our screws, they have to contact DW to verify what screw their gun uses, and they will need a gunsmith to modify the screw.
The ad photo clearly shows them mounted on a DWX with the factory DWX screws.
So you leave a 2 star review for a product you admit are amazing, with super fast shipping, because you are angry that we did not give you a free set of screws? Because you felt entitled to them? Because you didn't read the ad, but we should have just given them to you anyways?
You did not email us.. we have no emails from you about your issue.
Please shop elsewhere in the future.
“Though the owner did try to help me, ultimately he blamed the build of the gun. I don't agree with that. If you are open to the idea of making these grips fit yourself, absolutely buy from them. They are beautiful grips and well made.”
Hello... thanks for your feedback, however...
We advertise our 1911 grips to fit standard in spec frames. We cannot be responsible if your foreign made gun falls outside of what it considered industry "quality" specifications. Nor will we apologize for making a quality product that adheres to a quality specification. I will not lower our quality standards to make a grip so loose that will fit every out of spec frame from lower quality manufacturers overseas. If your gun falls outside of quality specs, you need to be willing to "fit" parts to it.
Thanks

“Ordered the wrong size of grips on accident. I just wanted to exchange them for the correct size but Wicked Grips is ignoring my contact attempts. I have spent thousands of dollars with them this year also, not cool.”
Hello Seth..
We did not ignore you. We never received any contact from you. When we saw your review we immediately reached out to you. We do apologize for the hassle, but have no record of any of the attempted contacts. We do offer several means of reaching out.. on the website there is a contact form, and our phone is also posted.
Thanks for the feedback.
