I started the program in September 2024. My goal from the beginning has been to have an analysis of my DNA conducted to provide insight specific to my body, tailor my lifestyle to get off of a prescription medication, and be aware of any genetic markers indicative of future health concerns. The Health Coach is energetic and offers basic information I've read in the news, in my own research, and on social media. My Physician is knowledgeable and offered to put me on a different prescription medication (when my goal is go get off completely). The prescription medication they recommended was denied by the insurance company. Over the months, FSA has been difficult in accepting Wild Health services as medical care and some months are not reimbursed. Once Wild Health initiated the bloodwork request, navigating to their chosen 3rd party blood draw clinic service was OK to use. In my area, there were plenty to chose from within an hour drive with the closest being about 30 minutes away. However, there was no guarantee I could find a time slot open in the early morning hours as many of those sites did not have any open time slots for up to a month out. To speed up my process for one of my blood draws, I did a longer fast and conducted my blood draw in the afternoon. It is now April 2025. I have completed two blood draws with my numbers staying pretty close to the same and showing some improvements with the addition of supplements (Vitamin D/K, Omega 3). The supplements have not improved my primary concerns and I still don't have any feedback on the DNA results. I am unclear on how Wild Health can offer precision care when the basis of their care/advice (the DNA analysis or Personal Health report) hasn't been completed and presented to the customer. I've spoken with the Health Coach about the delayed DNA results and they said this is unusual and have "escalated" my issue by notifying their supervisor. I have submitted an inquiry about the delayed DNA results directly to Wild Health and have not received a response, yet. The phone app is convenient and mostly easy to use. The messaging platform is the most convenient. The computer site has a lot more options (I like how they show the blood work results in a comparison chart) and can be difficult to maneuver through. In my experience, I can't say being in the program for 8 months has been financially worth the generic advice I've received when I could have spent the money on going to a personal doctor to receive actual testing and results in perhaps a more timely manner.

I had really high hopes for Wild Health and thus far have been pretty underwhelmed. Here's why: (1) one of the two tests (TruDiagnostic) you take they don't know how to interpret. You are therefore told your body is a certain age, but they don't know why or how to improve your body's age (2) I think the health coach is a waste of time, their primary focus is on accountability and not much else (3) It's on you to follow up with them to get answers. I've had to bump messages to get answers. You are managing the care team, instead of the care team managing you.

The Dr’s review of my health report is invaluable. The heath coach I felt wasn’t as good as my friend’s who has used wild health.

The idea of precision medicine and coaching is outstanding, but the operational reality and lack of accessibility to my own data via the health care team was a nightmare. It took 4 months to access my DNA results after Wild Health providers cancelled multiple appointments and shifted me to different doctors every time. Would not recommend at all.

Still hoping my experience will get better, but I signed up for Wild Health being promised certain services. Once on board, I was then told WH had changed their policy and certain services were no longer available to me. Kinda a bait and switch situation. My health coach is great, and I liked my doctor, but I did expect more from the one and only call I had with them. I got recommendations such as, "wear SPF 30, eat leafy green vegies, move at least 15 minutes per day". Not exactly the type of recommendations I paid to get. Some of the health report is interesting, but some of it is contradictory... such as "do not eat dairy" in one section, and then "increase dairy intake" in another section. I would have expected a more customized report than I got. I would be absolutely surprised if WH actually posted this review... Here's hopin' they are a transparent organization that wants to improve.
