Took a week to deliver a few miles and totally missed my sisters birthday. They shared emails to the courier agreeing that wasnt wonderful to pacify me. Don't use if you need anything in normal time - I wont be.

Hi Helen Please accept our apologies for the late delivery of your order. We hate it when our customer's orders arrive later than expected. Since your review is public and the one star you have given us reflects very badly on us - we just wanted to set a few things straight about your delivery. You placed your delivery at 11:18pm on a Wednesday night. We had your order picked, packed and collected by our courier at exactly 9:48am on Thursday morning. As our warehouse opens at 8:30am it took us a total of 78 minutes from receiving your order to getting it out the door. As you live in Kapiti and we are based in Lower Hutt we would have expected your order to arrive the next day on Friday but our website does say to allow 1 - 2 business days for deliveries within the North Island. Meaning you could expect your order on the Friday or the Monday. Unfortunately our couriers did mess up - which I am not making excuses for - and your order was not delivered until Tuesday. That is three business days in total and is one day longer than our website says to allow. Once again apologies for the late delivery. We hope you will use our services again. I ordered two dozen white wine but only one dozen has been delivered and I am still waiting the second dozen ,six days after the delivery of the first dozen. If it does not arrive in the next two days I am going to cancel my order and request a refund I am very disappointed in the service from winesale

Ordered wine, case arrived with broken bottle. Asked twice via email and online chat but no response. No remediation. Pretty poor service.

Sorry about this Phyll. We dispatched your items the day after you ordered them and it took our courier partner a lot longer than expected to deliver your wines which you have now received. We are talking to our courier partner about the problems now in an effort to make sure this does not happen again. Once again please accept our apologies.

I purchased two bottles of Penfold Bin 389, which stated that the closure was cork. I bought these from the site because I can get screwtops at numerous other stores, but I wanted cork closure. The photo accompanied the product description; my order confirmation also showed a cork closure. I was surprised when two screw-top bottles arrived. I have emailed asking for advice on how to return these bottles and have received no response. Please rectify and update your website as it appears to be misleading and in conflict with Section 9 of the NZ FTA

No response to second request for update. 8 working days later and still nothing arriving. Incorrect person being addressed in communication. Never again. If any product had arrived I’d photograph it.

Sorry your order has not arrived. Our team is contacting our couriers now to try and locate your parcel. We will call you before the end of the day today. We received your order last Wednesday and dispatched it the same day. Because it was a Rural Delivery to the South Island this can take up to 5 working days as outlined on our website. So we would have normally expected it to have arrived 2 days ago on Wednesday. Regarding your correspondence we replied to your email on Friday advising you that you would need to wait another 1 - 3 days for delivery. You replied to that email on Friday to thank us for our response and we did not respond to that email because we had just advised you of the situation and we did not think a response was expected. Subsequent to the email on Friday this review is the only communication we have had from you. Once again please accept our apologies we are working with the courier now to get your parcel delivered ASAP.

I still have not received my wine :( and I am very unhappy :(( The courier service has said that they have delivered it and they have not. They did not keep me updated with tracking and it seems to have gotten lost in transit. I did not receive an email to say it had been delivered. They even had the audacity to send me an old photo of the property and say this was where they had delivered it - it has the agapanthus out the front of the property that we had taken out months ago. Where is my wine???????????

Sorry Louise this is very disappointing. We work hard on getting our orders out as soon as we can. We recieved your order at 11:55am on the 24th of November and it was picked up by the courier at 2pm the same day. The courier then took 8 working days to deliver your order which is not good enough. We will be talking to the courier about their performance on this occasion. Once again please accept our apologies and I hope you will give us another chance to do better next time.

7 working days to come from Lower Hutt to the Kapiti Coast then the half case of wine was left in full view of a main road by the Courier. Get another courier service. This one's appalling.

The delivery company was very unwilling to deliver the wine to our house because they claim that the drop-off logistics are too inconvenient. We are very unhappy with their service and their unwillingness to provide a solution for this. There has been no communication about how we can receive the wine as well.

You advertised 20% off all Spanish wines but in fact that's been the price on at least some of them for some time...

Hi Brendon. Thanks for your feedback. However your statement is simply not true. Many of our wines are on a promotional cycle so they regularly fluctuate in price depending if they are on special or not. This pricing policy is outlined in our terms and conditions: "Our Price Was - Our Price Was represents a previously advertised, non-discounted price available from Winesale.co.nz for at least 21 consecutive days in the last 3 months. The new discounted price will not be active for more than 28 consecutive days without itself becoming the new non-discounted price." You may be pointing out that some of the products in our Spanish Sale have been advertised at cheaper prices in previous promotions. That is correct. However different promotions have different prices - that is not unusual or unexpected. I hope this helps explain our current promotion. Regards Grant
