“Bought mixed Spanish case. Fine for the price. However one of the bottles of the Olcaviana Cab Sav was undrinkable. The second was fine. Emailed to let them know but no response a month later. Hmm.”

“Great service and response online, but the continual spamming of "deals" and "specials" is out of control. Every day I am scraping all the junk mail out of my inbox. You are 5 stars for service but 1 star for overbearing comms. So that averages out at 3.”

Thanks for the feedback Sue. You may not be aware but you can set the number of emails you receive from us by going to your email preferences settings - there is a link to these settings at the top of every email we send out. The link is in blue text and says "Want to change how often you receive these emails? You can change your email frequency." If you follow that link you can limit the amount of emails you receive from us to once a week or twice a week. I hope that helps.

“The instructions on the order were for the wine ti be left near our back door if we were not at home. These instructions were not followed. The wine was left by the front door. Fortunately we discovered it there. Why do we bother with such instructions if they are not followed.”

“BUYING WAS EASY DELIVERY WAS PROMPT BUT WENT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS. IT WAS STATED ON THE DELIVERY NOTE THAT THIS WAS MY MOTHERS ADDRESS-JUDITH CLIFTON AND WHERE TO PUT IT , IF NOONE WAS IN. MAYBE IT WOULD BE PRUDENT FOR YOUR COURIERS TO ACTUALLY READ THE DELIVERY NOTE.”

“The pricing is a little obscure, the advertised price is often for a dozen bottles. So you buy a dozen bottles of various kinds to find the advertised price applies to a dozen particular bottles. I find this off-putting, and as a result, usually buy elsewhere”

“I’ve been a customer of Winesale for a number of years. I purchase usually a case a month. In the past I would receive a phone call early in the month generally from Miranda until she left. I enjoyed our conversations where we talked about new wines and what was good, also we got to know each other on a personal level. I think it a shame that the contact has ceased because it made the purchases personal. I have carried on buying from Winesale out of loyalty but think you have let yourself down a little. “Your site noted the order will be ready within 1 day, yet it took near 3 just to ship it. I'm still waiting... it's been 12 days that the parcel is "in transit".”

Dear Anon Sorry your wine took so long to get to you. The courier company has been experiencing severe delays in your region. I have checked our despatch record on your order and can confirm the order was despatched in our expected timeframe. Your order was made at 6.22pm on the 13th of October and picked up from us by the courier at 4.06pm on the 14th of October. Sorry again for the delay.
