“I paid for express shipping, but my order was sent via UPS Ground, making it impossible for it to arrive in Ohio by the advertised December 24 delivery date. Because of this delay, I was forced to scramble and find alternative gifts at the last minute. While customer service was polite, their response leaned heavily on carrier estimates rather than acknowledging the mismatch between the shipping method I paid for and what was used. I understand holiday delays happen, but advertising express delivery and shipping ground feels misleading. Overall, the experience caused unnecessary stress during what should have been a joyful gifting moment.”

These books received an emotional response from the recipient. The book is after all a memorabilia of/for the child. I believe that the book is well worth the cost. The child may or may not keep the book, with luck or perseverance, the book will remain undamaged overtime, you can scrapbook the pages and create a timeless gift to carry on for their lives.”
“I created and paid for two books for my granddaughters that were expected by Halloween. Unfortunately, they did not arrive, and I was informed they would arrive the next day (11/1). On 11/1, I was informed they would arrive on 11/2; on 11/2, I was informed they would arrive on 11/3. It is 11/3, and I am now being told they will arrive on 11/4. When I checked the help page, it says to contact them if it is between 5 and 10 days late. Had I known there was a 10-day grace period for delivery, I would not have ordered from them. There are several other custom gift companies out there to choose from; if you order from Wonderbly, do not count on them to deliver when they say they will.”

I'm not sure why so many bad reviews... you literally get to preview book before you buy.... Bought it may 11 and arrived today 5-19-25 it was supposed to arrive yesterday but 1 day off is okay! The delivery date came and went, plus another 10 business days. finally, they offered to send another book "free of charge". This means they will keep my money and not charge me a second time. This was not acceptable to me since the whole idea and plan of the gift is now gone. They did not offer a refund or a discount. Still waiting for the replacement but not hopeful.”
“I was extremely disappointed with the product. I purchased a first birthday book for my grandson. For the value of what I paid which was $130, the product was nothing like it was advertised. I selected premium add ons such as the hard cover and flat pages, but the book was so thin and had paper pages. Such a let down. “I ordered the "Your ILife in Newspaper Headlines" book for my husband's birthday, which has the first pages of newspapers every year from the time of my husband's birth to present day. We were so disappointed because you have to have a magnifying glass to read them. Have never seen such small printing in my life. Even my 20-something daughter (with better eyes than I) could not read it. Waste of money.”
“I received the book today and I have to say I am extremely disappointed. It's clearly photocopied and not even photocopied well. There are pages that are smeared and there are some pages that have something that seemed to be on the screen when it was copied. There are dark spots that are illegible and the text is so small that I'm going to have trouble reading it, let alone my 95 year old grandfather who the gift was for. I am so disappointed. I thought it was such a creative idea to give for a gift. The quality of this is nowhere near what I paid for it.”
“Sent to wrong address due to pre-fill from my Paypal account - where I no longer live (I'm actually in a different country now). When I received the confirmation email, there was a link to change the address which did not work. Consequently, I immediately sent through an email to correct the address, and there was no response. The address must have automatically gone through as it is the address connected to my Paypal account. There should have been a page where I could fill out my address (I thought this was a bit strange, but assumed I would add it after selecting my payment details), or even a page where I could double check my address before confirming my order - there was neither.
Wonderbly offered to send me now books, free of charge. But I have to pay the $50 postage. So bad.”
“We bought 3 books paid over $55 per book and we only received 2 books. I tried for over a week to get an answer back from Wonderby Books with no response. I was going to order 8 more books for Christmas but now I will need to look elsewhere for gifts. The books we ordered were Birthday gifts 1 child did not get his. Happy birthday to him.”
“Hi, the book I ordered from them arrived as a Father's Day gift. It arrived with pages glued together, which could not be opened without damaging the book. I've emailed them twice and contacted them on your Instagram and Facebook to resolve this issue and have not heard back from you through any medium. The book was almost AUD $80 and is unusable. It's one thing that the book is damaged, it's another that customer service has not responded to any of my contacts.”
