Easy enough to use but when using the holiday search hard to see which park/accommodation detail you are viewing.

I was a little disappointed this year, paid a lot of money to stay in the farmhouse as there were 8 of us staying but one of the mattresses in the twin room was so uncomfortable my child could feel every spring, when we took the sheet off it looked like the mattress had been found in a layby, it was dirty, smelly and disgusting and needed throwing out! The price of internet in your accommodation is a huge rip off too, but then you want us to spend all day in the main building buying food and drinks and not enjoying the accommodation! I've loved I in the past but don't think I'll return again after this last visit.

Good informative website, not brilliant to use from an iPad perspective..

Could not get the 5 days wanted on our preferred site but was not given indication that 4 days were available, sent us to other sites in the area, reduced the days and it gave the alternative, I thought it would be more beneficial if site asked if you were flexible

Very straightforward to use. However, the confirmation showed a £12 credit card fee. This wasn't made clear at the time of booking and I could have paid by alternative means had it been highlighted properly.

Good facilities for the kids. Accommodation was awful. Wife spent most of the week on the sofa because of rock hard mattresses, which they wouldn't change. Won't be going back again

Rating based on booking process only (not stayed there yet) it was very easy to book, good website! I have booked the bronze caravan in the hope that it looks like the pictures on your website, however, I suspect that the pictures are of the 'new style' bronze caravans. Which is misleading, if that is the case. Surely you should also include pictures of what you will be staying in ie. the standard bonze?!? I shall wait and see what awaits us, when we arrive on 31/7?! Regards Mrs Lissenden

I would have said excellent, but I have been charged the cancellation fee. I was with my friend and did not tick it which means I was supposed to untick it. She can confirm we read everything. It only £6 but this is a last minute holiday and we won't be cancelling so I wouldn't have ticked it to purchase. Other than that booking was easy, plenty of information about what we can do and the availability of things on the 4 parks.

Dear Mrs Brittle Thank you for booking with us and for taking the time to post your review. It's now been illegal in the UK to pre-tick option extras for just over a year and we stopped doing it several years ago. Therefore, in order for our Holiday Safeguard Scheme to be added to a booking, then it must have been ticked by the user at the point of purchase. I hope that resolves your query, ^kd social media team

Stunning views great bus service. Lovely clean well kept Park. Disappointing entertainment Aimed at 4yrs and under children. Caravan not as modern or as well equipped at we have had at other parks. Tiny fridge!

Stayed at golden coast. What was good. The facilities on park were good for the children. Although the site could do with an overhaul (looks a bit tired and faded). The staff are friendly and helpful, and food was better then expected. The prices of the activities where good (not overpriced) What was bad. However the accommodation was awful. Mould around the windows on then window frames and on walls. Mould on the ceiling in our bedroom, The whole place smelt damp and mouldy even after windows open and heating on. Hygiene and cleaning was poor. Our feet were dirty after 15 minutes of being in lounge on 1st day. The sofa had not been moved or cleaned under in months (the debris and cobwebs under there were testament to this). The sofa itself was awful (smelt terrible, of damp dog) and it was knackered (had to put four cushions and a duvet under the sofa cushions to give it some support otherwise it collapsed when you sat on it. The beds are very uncomfortable (rock hard with no support, came home with a bad back and left a day earlier due to accommodation standards) and the bedding duvets were cheep and too small. The shower in the bathroom was akin to something you might find in a 1970's 2 star B and B (small and pokey) and the boarding that had been put on wasn't even securely fixed to the tiles it had been fitted over (I dread to think of the mould growing behind it). The curtains hardly fit the windows (too short - looks like they had shrunk in the wash as the liner was visible) and not wide enough. I had to put bath towels up at the window to keep the light out of the room the curtains where so ineffective. All in all very poor. The wifi was also very poor. When trying to book things on lined, the paid wifi (at 40 pounds a device) was very very poor. Kept dropping out and very minimal to zero coverage at the lodge making booking activities frustrating and difficult. Even for basic accommodation this is unacceptable and not as described or advertised on the web site (the photography made it all look so much better). The visit to Woolacombe bay park was a much better experience. Nicer more modern surroundings. Great pool and lovely cinema. Its such a shame the accommodation was so poor at Golden Coast, as it spoilt what would otherwise have been a lovely experience. Regards Mrs Debbrah Flower

The facilities / activities for children are reasonably good particularly if you have bad weather and don't want to go into town. However the touring pitches next to reception are the equivalent of being parked in a public carpark, not very appealing. In addition to this you get the late night noise from people leaving the bar which isn't great when you have two young children.

booking process made difficult by difficulty of comparing different caravans on different parks at the same time

Really easy to use and clear instructions. Bit confused as to how you get the retuning customer discount that was promised.

The customer service was amazing. Very friendly staff. Just a shame about everything else. Expensive restaurant/snacks/wi-fi and uncomfortable mattress & pillow.

We had a lovely short break with friends but wanted to thank the fantastic bus driver who was the most helpful and kindest driver we have ever met. My partner was using a mobility scooter and he was treated top class. The roads are narrow and full of traffic but the driver was happy, confident and professional. Customer service excellent ! Thank you
