The holiday park perfect for my young family. The two down sides are the arcade machines not giving the right change and game machines not marked up out of order so you lose money. THE BIG DISAPPOINTMENT WAS THE PRICE OF DRINKS. £4.95 for pint of beer is a joke. And soft drinks were way over priced.

Good site with good facilities especially for young children. Being able to use the other parks was a bonus. However, there needs to be some customer service training especially for the younger seasonal staff who failed to log issues and appeared to be unconcerned by issues, in fact told one day "wasn't their problem" when informing them that the change machine in the arcade wasn't changing £2 coins. Equally the prices in the bar were extortionate - £11 for a pizza

Needs thermostats in silver grade caravan. Also needs new mattresses in all 3 bedrooms as all of them were very used and not very hygienic we came away with a lot of bites. Apart from this it was clean and enough for all of the family to do.

Purely a review of booking process which I believe is confusing as it's not abundantly clear which park you are booking. Booked Golden coast by mistake due to lack of clarity

we have been to twitchen house a few times now,and staff are always friendly and always go a step further to accomadate our little boy who is disabled and a wheelchair user so on both occasions camping and the latest caravanholiday this weekend for 3 nights they always made sure we had parking and closet to toilets/showers when camping, this time we stayed in a platnium 2017 carvan and we had and still is long hair frozen in the freezer we didnt use and we had a ant infestion on the kitchen worktop and floor and in the main living space and the black bin lid had all stuff from previous guests rubbish , food is always freshly cooked and is lovely but by the 3rd night we had fish and all 3 orders of cod n chips the peas where stone cold, and ran out of house vodka and the cocktail mixer and all kids drinks and certain milkshakes, & snacks and kids bits in the entertainment so after the shop closes kids was left with nothing for the remainder of the last 2 nights orderd a glass of wine for a friend of ours and the wine glass and lipstick lips marks around the glass, it obviously was a very busy holiday term ,only other thing i would say is although staff will go out there way to help it isnt very wheelchair friendly regarding steep bumpy slopes from pool to outside play are which leads to the shop and paint gift shop area and indoors where no slope at all to cinema. entertainment is always good for both adults and children and like most popular holiday sites is open to 12 which i have no problem with at all unlike a few other guests which im sorry if you want a quiet holiday site maybe go to a more basic family oreinted site which doesnt have the bars/entertainment , overall even with the lil hiccups this weekend we will 100% going back for many more years to come and i will be booking a few nights for fathers day weekend as soon as i finish this.lol and just becuase i put acceptable for this stay i would easily have put more 5 star rating if they hadnt had ran out of my frav drink and kids bits ..lol and didnt have the extra unwanted guests and other peoples body hair

We have just returned from a family holiday at the Woolacombe Bay Holiday Park. We camped and it is our first experience of not having any outdoor space. The whole reason we enjoy camping as a family is so that we have an area outside out tent for the children to play. This was impossible, we were all packed in like sardines. In fact, we had to park our car in the main car park for the duration of our holiday because there wasn't enough space for this either. There were plenty of toilets and shower rooms and we never had to queue for one. Cleanliness was ok but would recommend a regular deep clean. There were cobwebs on window cills that looked like they had been around for a few months. We did see the floors being cleaned on a regular basis, but sinks etc were days between each clean. There was a distinct lack of soap in the toilets. Despite asking for the soap dispensers to be refilled, 24 hours later, they still hadn't. On a plus side, the staff were good. Happy to help, friendly and always had a smile. The park itself was clean and there was plenty of activities for the children. Woolacombe Bay need to rethink their reception area. We were constantly queuing to see a receptionist. You had to visit them to get tokens to access the pool, hire equipment for the outdoor activities, purchase spa treatments etc etc. The park is busy so there was always a queue!

Great location but entertainment was not up to expectations. We stayed in a silver lodge and were very disappointed. I managed to look at other accommodation and would recommend only staying in silver or above caravans not lodges as all lodges are dated

Just got back after our Easter break, first time touring at Twitchen park. Disappointed with the shower & toilet block, toilets blocked unable to flush, no water, never any toilet rolls. Long waiting time at the bar 20mins plus. That's just poor management. Most people pre book, so they should have a idea of numbers. Will go again because we like Woolacombe

Location is great, beach is amazing, kids loved the soft play area, swimming pool however was cold, shower after swimming also cold & changing rooms and toilets dirty, cinema really good idea but so many people didn't bother to pay and just watched the film, nobody checking tickets at all annoying as we paid £20. Location amazing and Woolacombe is lovely just a shame a few things let the holiday down at twitchen house.

Beautiful area. Caravan was awful, threadbare carpet, plastic beds and pillows. Only 2/5 pools were open. Surfing and wetsuit hiring was too expensive.
