“The 3 books themselves were as advertised, but were sent in three separate packages over the course of a week. When I order multiple books there should at least be an option for them all to be delivered later, BUT IN A SINGLE PACKAGE.”

“I got what I ordered quick enough but the way it had been packed has left a strip of glue down the cover from the envelope that was used. It is very difficult to remove and as this is a gift, it is a bit disappointing.”

“A speedy despatch as usual, but instructions about what to do with the parcel if the recipients are out is needed. My parcel, inducing 2 presents, was left outside in the wet. By our return, the packaging was soaked and the books decidedly damp. After drying they were almost as good as new.”

“A book arrived damaged, so I contacted them through their website. Waited for 2 days but no reply. Contacted again and waited for over 2 days. Again no reply. I got lucky third time. I had a reply, apologising and telling me that a replacement copy will be despatched and no need to return the damaged book. They suggested to donate it to a charity shop.”

“I was looking for a specific book and Wordery had the best online price ( just ) so I thought I'd try them out. Website and ordering was okay. My main problem is how the book was packed, as in very poorly. It was obviously damaged in transit, but I didn't have the time to send it back for a replacement. Considering the size and weight of the book, it should have been packaged better. As my first purchase it will probably be my last. I'll go back to the obvious online book retailer we all know so well. At least they pack items well. For the sake of a couple of quid I should have stuck to my usual go to option.”
