“I took the online training for Fall Protection and Aerial Lift Platforms. The content is good for both, but I was initially a little disappointed at the presentation of the content in the Fall Protection course. The quality of the presentation in the Aerial Lift course was much better and definitely worth the time and money, including the way worker safety experiences were presented to add weight to the instructions. I hope they upgrade the Fall Protection course with the same attention to detail and quality.”

“Overall the website was easy to navigate. We had a few workers who had difficulty with setting up profiles. A few of these workers phoned WorkSite Safety and issues were resolved. A suggestion - because the labour market is so diverse with different ethnicities, would it be possible to create WHMIS 2015 training in various languages? For example - Tagalog, Croatian, Serbian, some of the less popular languages. Thank you. Michelle Colcerin”

“The course had good information and was quite detailed. I would have enjoyed some videos to break up the format. Also, I noticed an almost complete representation of women and people of colour in your course. The only photo of a woman that I remember was one of her hands with nail polish on, when you were talking about breast injuries. This is a problem because more and more women like me are taking on trades and other work that requires training like this, and it would be great for that to be reflected in the course materials. Overall, I thought the content was good, though.”

Hey Caira, Thank you for your feedback regarding the course I'm so sorry for the issues you had with the lack of diversity in it. There are a few more examples of women and people of diverse racial/ethnic background in the course than you are remembering, but the fact that you were left with such an impression shows that there is some definite room for improvement.
