“Unbelievably bad customer service”

“oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.......... i ordered nearly 6 weeks ago - it says on my account that the order has been fulfilled but i have not had a dispatch email and the company ignore my attempts to contact them so they can give me the relevant dispatch information. they did however get back to me when i left a 1 star review (which i offered to review when my items were received), but sadly it was only to say that they will not be prioritizing my order as i left a 1 star review. i finally managed to get through to the owner via email, and when i suggested a full refund if they are not able to fulfil the order i was threatened with account closure and 'fees' being charged before a refund was issued. However Consumer Rights in the Uk dictate that i AM entitled to a FULL refund if the items are not received within the maximum timescale given at the time of purchase - in this case it is up to 1 month - as it is now nearly 6 weeks after my purchase i am not subject to 'fees' being charged if i need to cancel. Under Section 75 of Consumer Protection i am entitled to (and have sadly now had to action) my credit card provider to get my money back. The owner does not replay to messages most of the time, but when he does he is rude, threatening and really does not care that a paying customer is worried that their order has not been dispatched after 6 weeks of payment! It's a real shame, and tremendously disappointing that this unprofessional and deeply unpleasant attitude is at the heart of this business. do look at the companies terms and conditions as they refer to a lot of their customers (who dare to question where their items are) as bitter, and do also look at their trust piolet reviews also as when they reply they refer to trust piolet as a 'cess pit' of a company for allowing disgruntled customers to exercise their freedom of speech rights when they give accurate reviews of their disappointing experiences. What a shame - i'm sure the owner will be along soon to leave a sarcastic comment about my experiences, but please be assured i am a genuine customer who has received an unpleasant and unprofessional experience with 'clearance xl'”

“They are scammers, I already found out about it in August 2024. I made the purchase on August 13 and received the shipment on August 27 and I paid extra for the shipment 1-5 days, so it is easy to calculate when I should receive the shipment. When I wrote to them on August 22, they wrote back that they had just sent my order, this is a joke. I will never shop with these scammers again and I hope they choke on my money.”

“Customer service is non-existent with this company. Told me my order had been dispatched but that was a lie. I would urge everyone to stay away from this company. When I did a review on trust pilot he responded by telling me because I give him a bad review my order had been delayed further.”

“I complained about their slow shipping, as my order hadn't been even processed after a week and their shipping costs are higher than any other. They replied to insult me and say it's been delivered, when it hasn't even been shipped! So they have horrible customer service and have no idea what they are doing, along with the overpriced slow shipping compared to every other BB site out there. Cheap foods, approved foods, etc. I have never had such a bad experience with any of the others. After being a customer with clearance XL for a while, and then getting this treatment when my order hasn't even been shipped - issue on their side - I obviously won't be back. Absolutely no attempt to fix the issue - just insults and lies about my order.”

“Biggest fiddle out. £2.99 on woucher for a box of food. Then £20 delivery. The box arrives and ALL of the food is out of date .. not by weeks.. months and some 2022! Do not touch this site it's a fiddle”

“What an angry little man. I asked to change my address to divert my parcel, 3 weeks and no reply even with multiple attempts. Eventually found a phone number for him and because i complained he closed my account. His attitude is " I don't care, even negative feedback is publicity" Avoid if possible as it is roulette with him.”
