I complained about their slow shipping, as my order hadn't been even processed after a week and their shipping costs are higher than any other. They replied to insult me and say it's been delivered, when it hasn't even been shipped! So they have horrible customer service and have no idea what they are doing, along with the overpriced slow shipping compared to every other BB site out there. Cheap foods, approved foods, etc. I have never had such a bad experience with any of the others. After being a customer with clearance XL for a while, and then getting this treatment when my order hasn't even been shipped - issue on their side - I obviously won't be back. Absolutely no attempt to fix the issue - just insults and lies about my order.

Can't get through to them. Always offline. Won't answer phone. Been waiting over a week for delivery. No date yet. Don't understand why woucher still use them

Biggest fiddle out. £2.99 on woucher for a box of food. Then £20 delivery. The box arrives and ALL of the food is out of date .. not by weeks.. months and some 2022! Do not touch this site it's a fiddle

What an angry little man. I asked to change my address to divert my parcel, 3 weeks and no reply even with multiple attempts. Eventually found a phone number for him and because i complained he closed my account. His attitude is " I don't care, even negative feedback is publicity" Avoid if possible as it is roulette with him.

Avoid at all costs !!! Where do you begin, the owner is deluded, sends out incomplete orders that contain mouldy and dangerous foods. Argues like an angry child, will not admit any liability and closes your account straight away. Just someone who doesn't know how to run a business. The only way to get your money back is to take legal action, and let him cover the final costs.

I ordered shelves on 25th June I received 3 emails on 30th June stating dispatched then 1 email saying rejected I have emailed several times and no response I have tried to call and can't get through. No refund has been issued to me either its not a lot of money but very bad customer service if they rejected order could they not just tell me why??? Would not recommend.

Order came full of polystyrene they claimed was to protect the goods, however they still arrived damaged. Customer service is absolutely abysmal, so incredibly rude, defensive & unhelpful when feedback was provided, it was like having a conversation with an angry 13 year old boy. If anyone is thinking about using them I highly suggest looking at approvedfood.co.uk or cheapfood.co.uk - both have outstanding customer service, a great range of products, websites that are easy to navigate & haven’t been designed and created by a child.

Absolutely horrendous company with awful customer service, I put a review up stating the products were good but it was a shame delivery was slow and they banned me from using their shop ever again. The only thing I would recommend with this company is that you never , ever use them !

Damaged goods, delivery terrible - as an old guy I was left to carry two heavy boxes up 7 flights of stairs - and my email of complaint was met with rudeness and indifference and I was told I was no longer allowed to shop with them. Not the best apology I ever had. 12 tins of tomatoes all adly dented and the price they claimed they were reduced from was a lie. £6 they said, but marked at 3 for a pound is £4 and I might as well bought them perfect from a shop and in date. Box of bakewell tarts, crushed flat, 3 large bags of crisps, 2 burst open and the contents loose in the box. When I complained, the email told me fine, we've removed you from our list and you can no longer shop with us. Rude ignorant people do not shop with them.

I ordered shy of £300 worth of items from this unprofessional business. Opted for standard delivery which quotes 1-5 working days. As a business, I needed to know a rough ETA. I tried the mobile number which goes unanswered and left 2 messages requesting a callback. I tried their "contact us" form and email, all without success. Finally, I thought I might get an answer from their Facebook page, and crikey I did. I was accused of attacking the company and threatened to cancel my order and cancel my account. I was then told it would take up to 30 days and should have selected priority delivery if I wanted the items sooner. All this because I wanted to know when my items would arrive! The business seems to blame their negative reviews on "trolls", fake reviews, and their competition trying to belittle them. It's been 9 days and still no goods or refunds. If I don't get my refund promptly I'll most definitely be pursuing legal action. FYI Their contact details and accounts can be found on the Companies House Gov website.

Friend order item weeks it has not been sent out yet.. They stopped replying to emails so they left a review.. Aftwards received this message.

Ive tried other similar sites and can say ClearanceXL is the best. You get value for money and the generous 60kg weight allowance is incredible.

This company HATES any sort of negative feedback, even when issues are caused by them. The customer service is absolutely awful and the way they "ban" their customers from their site just for stating on a review that they haven't received their items is terrible, not to mention half the time customers don't even receive there items! They honestly treat their customers awfully and report ANY SORT OF REVIEW THAT ISNT AN EXCELLENT ON TRUSTPILOT SO THEY ONLY HAVE 5 STAR REVIEWS SHOWING. They hate any sort of truthful comments and blame everyone but themselves for their wrong doings. Buy at your own risk !

Placed order on 5th dec, emailed the company several times to see if my order had been dispatched, but no replys , phoned them on the mobile number provided but is always switched off, sent a message on there facebook page on 16th dec , then got an awful message on facebook messenger, extremely rude and so so unprofessional, they have cancelled my order just because i asked when it was coming, can honestly say i have never had a company speak to me the way they did , how this company is active i really dont know. Companys like this really do need looking into more.
