“I've just had excellent service from Coast. I ordered 2 dresses of around £80 each (reduced as during the recent Wedding outfits sale). They arrived within 48 hours, in perfect condition. Both were beautifully made with quality fabrics. I ordered a size 14 and a size 16, but found them almost identical in fit (though slightly different styles). Fabulous dresses but alas, didn't suit me and my long body! I returned them a week after arrival. The return process was easy with no printing required. Three days later I received a full refund. Just so pleased I was able to try the dresses, or I would still be hankering after them now. Thanks, Coast 5 stars from me?”

“Ordered 2 of the same dress but different sizes. They arrived promptly and very well packed. Returned the dress that wasn't needed and 2 days later received an email saying my refund was being dealt will. Great service.”

“I walked into Coast after a nightmarish experience with John Lewis. I was shopping for a Prom dress for my daughter. What a difference in customer service . Very helpful , staff went out of their way to make sure I found the right size /outfit. Had to go back to return a previous online purchase and was really pleased at the friendly service. If you are shopping for a special occasion , please do give Coast a try.”

“I ordered a Coast tulle evening skirt which I saw on Amazon recently. It arrived promptly and is the most beautiful thing I've seen in many a long year. A gorgeous cobalt blue, a good length and the quality of the sewing and materials used are superb. A fabulous design and now all I need is a top to go with it! It was packaged well and had pads to safeguard marking from the hanger it came with. I cannot fault it or Coast. Full marks.”

“I ordered a plus size sequin cocktail dress; that fit me perfectly. My package came in 3 days and they sent me regular tracking updates. The dress was on sale for £40 and the quality was ideal for the Price.”

“Coast clothes always used to be fantastic quality. I don't know what has happened but I ordered 2 dresses, and they arrived scrunched up and creased in tiny plastic bags. They feel horrible and look cheap. Very disappointing. The only plus is that they did arrive quickly.”

“Was so disappointed in the quality of the items especially at the price point. Unfinished seams no lining stiff zips just cheaply made finishing appalling for a dress priced at £150 had much better quality on items at a 1/4 of the price”

“I have ordered blush bridesmaid dress I was about to use as my wedding dress. Original price was £139 , slightly discounted so I thought I will give it a go. Very bad quality !! Material is just joke I wouldn’t even wear it anywhere , see through ! How can you make see through bridesmaid dress?? Very very cheep material ! Bow which supposed to be in a back was falling apart. Size 10 was like size 12, would bot recommend buying.”

“Coast is the worst company I have ever ordered online with. It's absolutely diabolical. I am still waiting for a refund that goes back to January this year for over £200! I placed an order in January this year and returned the items through Royal Mail promptly (I have proof of return). It took forever for Coast to acknowledge my return but I did eventually receive an email telling me it had received the goods and it would make the refund. I waited for my refund but it never came. In the meantime I was taken seriously ill into hospital and my recovery has taken months. Last month whilst checking over my accounts for the year I realised that they never did refund my money. I contacted customer services and they replied promptly and apologised and assured me that I would receive a refund. This was coming up a month ago. Still no refund has arrived. I have contacted customer services several times and they have responded quickly and promised me it would arrive in my PayPal within a few days. I now contact them daily but no longer receive a response. All my emails are ignored and they owe me over £200. It's been a year in January since the order and they still have my money. It's shocking that a high street brand such as Coast can be so appalling to it's customers. I will never ever purchase from them online or instore ever again.”

“I returned a dress on the 11th August and was told my refund would be in my acct on the 26th August. No tefund as yet. Now been told it will be 11th September. Is this company experiencing financial difficulties? At most we should be waiting 5 working days for a return. Never ever buy from this company.”

“Ordered several items which arrived promptly. Unfortunately the fit wasn’t ideal so returned them. Had so many issues chasing my refund even though I had tracking to prove my parcel had been returned. Emails going backwards & forwards with excuses as to why I still hadn’t received my refund. Had to raise a dispute & investigation with my bank to receive my refund. AVOID I will definitely not recommend or use this company again. Shocking customer experience.”

“I am extremely disappointed. I ordered the Fleur 3d dress in two colours because it was that gorgeous. It was pricey but I thought it was beautiful. Well I ordered the dresses in a size 8 and they were so tight on the arms I couldn't bend down. I thought I just needed to size up so I ordered the same dresses in a size 10 just to be sure. Tried them on, and the same problem. So tight on the shoulders and the sleeves - just horrendous. But slightly to loose in waist so obviously the wrong size. I sent them all back, all 4 dresses. The people making these have no idea how to sew. Who needs a dress you can move around in? Ridiculous. And the patterns aren't cut right, they should have had the common sense to use the flowers embroidered on the fabric to do waist, not create that horrible juxtaposed waist the dresses have where the pattern doesn't flow at all. Overall far to expensive to be extremely awkward to wear. The dresses are to tight to get on and off and to uncomfortable to move in. And to top it of, coast have the audacity to charge £2 for returns! The cheek. If other companies have free returns why don't coast? I'm not impressed at all and I don't think I will be ordering from coast again.”
