“I was very disappointed that Coolibar does not exchange items for size that I must pay a paying an $8 return shipping their prices change every two days for the same item and the shipping takes 2weeks. This is crazy. I have never paid a return shipping fee nor has shipping taken 2 weeks. I wanted to buy additional items, but will not due slow shipping and a $8 return I am returning all Coolibar items and will not make purchases from Coolibar in the future.
Very poor one-line business model and I am very disappointed with the entire Coolibar shopping experience.”
“On April 3, 2025 I placed an order for a poncho and a pair of Maho weekend pants. Within four hours of placing the order, I saw online that Coolibar was offering 20% discount on orders over $100 ( which mine was ). I called to request the discount on my order since it had not yet shipped or my credit card charged. This was denied. Instead, I was told I would have to place a whole new order to receive the discount and return my original order when it arrived and pay shipping for the return.
Horrible Customer Service/ Policy. Any reputable business I have dealt with will honor a discount that becomes available within 48 hours of placing an order.
I have been a Coolibar customer for many years along with recommending you to others. There are too many other businesses now available offering sun protective clothing to give my money to Coolibar who doesn't appreciate or value their loyal customers.”
“I recently placed my first order with Coolibar. It will be my last.
There is no customer service. The return process is customer unfriendly and the fact that one cannot do an online return is an ancient way to do business in this day and age.
I called customer service at 10:15 EST, you open at 10 am, and was on hold for 30 minutes before I hung up.
I would not order another item from you if it was the last SPF piece of clothing on earth.”
“Great product but the worst customer service & problem resolution I have ever encountered with a company. Placed an order for $30,000 since they wouldn't open a wholesale account for me even though we are a legitimate bricks & mortar retailer. I had to follow up with them for 2 weeks after to get any ship dates or tracking info, 57 items were short shipped, after Coolibar blamed their fulfillment company staff, then UPS (they never took ownership of the short shipment) I argued to have this issue escalated to their CFO & 7 weeks later (after countless phone calls, emails & wasting the customers time) they finally credited back the missing units. My advice, order from Amazon, at least you'll have the piece of mind, customer service & faster shipping.”
“I already own a Coolibar jacket in size medium. I ordered two additional jackets in size medium. One is a perfect fit, the other is much too large. The customer service rep could care less about their company’s inconsistency in sizing and told me to “gift it”! She subsequently told me that it was meant to be worn over a sweatshirt or something similar. If I was wearing a sweatshirt, I wouldn’t need a sun protection jacket! Buyer beware with this company.”
