The schoolbook section was long closed before the shop closed. Staff refused to pick up two books l wanted. Other staff were clearly doing very little and could easily have retrieved the two books but unfortunately that was not possible due to company policy. I won’t ever shop here again. A complete waste of my time.

Two weeks ago I gave in book list in Blanchardstown. Yesterday the teacher said two of them were the wrong ones. I went in this morning to change them and before I could finish what I was saying she barked for the receipt. The manager standing beside her whispered to her they were damaged because one of them had a name tag on it which was easily removed. They told me the staff don't get books wrong when clearly they do as they gave me the wrong ones. The book is €4.95 so it wasn't a big deal. The problem is their attitude. The way they spoke to me was horrendous. Next year I'll do all book lists on line!!

Terrible service, I ordered school books, 15 working days ( delivery time 5-10days) still waiting for 1 ( they're send 1 in the parcel. Nobody answer phone or respond on email, just automatic messages. I regret I didn't check reviews before I order. Should be option for 0 stars as 1 is too much.

Save yourself alot of hassle and Steer Clear! Absolutely dreadful service. Unfortunately I placed order for school books with online service of this company ..no sign of order arriving on time for start of school and was told order not even picked yet at warehouse and when I asked for refund I was refused...I made subsequent attempts to contact customer service and was met with music being played down the line ..gave up after 15 minutes of this.I received email saying Do Not Reply...tried customer care line again..no answer but for a recorded message saying this voicemail was not manned. This online "service" has clearly messed up big time on school book orders.I would suggest they don't take an order if they cannot process it on time. Absolutely disgraceful service...if you want to save yourself alot of hassle and expense then steer well clear of this company...I know I will never ever be trusting an order to them again.

Absolute shambles of an online store. Easons should be leading by example as they are one of the oldest Irish bookstores. I should of read the reviews here before I used them. Ordered stationary and books for my kids going back to school 3 weeks ago. Got an email this morning telling me I’ll be receiving 1 hardback copy and a pack of 4 copies in 3/4 days. The rest will be processed at a later date. What a joke of a service. Easons please do away with your online service if you can’t provide it properly, people are anxious enough about sending their children back to school,they don’t need this worry on top of everything else. Their customer service is non existent, you can’t get through to anybody for an explanation. Avoid folks go elsewhere.

Terrible service. Would never buy from Easons again. I ordered and paid for a book over three weeks ago. I still don't have it. I have emailed their customer service repeatedly and each time they send a standard email telling me that my order is complete. The last email I sent requested a refund of my money, as it is clear at this stage that they do not plan on providing me with the book that I purchased from them, but they have not responded to my email. I won't hold my breath waiting for the return of my money. I actually cannot believe how poor their customer service is. Well essentially there is no customer service, just a copied and pasted response saying my order is complete. I will never purchase from them again. It is particularly irritating as I can purchase books cheaper from Book Depository but chose to purchase from Easons to support an Irish company and help keep workers in jobs during the current pandemic. I regret that decision as I now have to purchase the book from Book Depository anyway and Easons are obviously happy to keep/steal the money I gave them for the book they they not provide.

Ordered 3 products on April 21st. Only one item has arrived to date (2 weeks later). No facility to call customer service & no reply from their on-line customer service facility. These items were a gift for someone - too late now! Dreadful service. Not sure if and when I will get my outstanding items. Would not recommend to buy at Eason on- line.

Order 3 items never received them, don't reply to emails, no refund, I called the stores to get closure and was told nothing to do with them and I just have to wait for a reply to my email it's been 1 month and 15 emails and nothing.

I loved Easons when I lived in Ireland so I wanted to support the shop by buying a holiday gift from them. The purchase went through eventually (I only knew this because I found it on my bank statement) and then nothing. I used the support form on the site - never got a response. After a long time, they send me an email - (addressed to my email but with the recipient's name) telling me one of the items was out of stock! It was in stock when I purchased it! I called the recipient today and found out he got a book in the mail and did not know who it was from because the shop did not include the gift card. I am not impressed and won't buy from Easons again.
