“Bought a pair of shorts online. Fit was too small. Tried to return the item online after following their returns policy. Tried several times to input my credit card details to pay the return postage but will it not accept them. No idea why. Customer service non-existent. BEWARE YOU CANNOT RETURN ITEMS BOUGHT ONLINE TO A STORE.”

“Bought Jack Wills chunky soled slippers for my partner that completely fell apart after just 3 months of normal wear — stitching undone, bottoms fell off. Clearly not made to last. I reached out to customer service hoping for at least some acknowledgment of the issue, but instead was met with radio silence for over a week not once, oh no not twice but 3 times! Will be a forth to come most likely! When they do finally reply, their messages are cold, dismissive, and rude — basically saying it’s not their problem. No apology, no accountability, just a generic brush-off. It’s clear they have no interest in standing behind their products or offering any sort of customer care. I won’t be buying from Jack Wills again — their products are overpriced junk, and the way they treat customers is disgraceful. Save your money and spend it with a brand that actually gives a damn.”

“Purchased 2 matching items, the items that arrived had the correct labels on them, but they weren't the correct item. They did refund but the only reason given was "Mislabelling in the warehouse". This company is not what it used to be.”

“Do not touch, the payments "don't go through" and by the time they do you are down several hundreds pounds because of their "authorisation process" My order was £108, I have 5x £108 gone from my account for "authorisation" and one £108 actual payment. This is not acceptable, I am left with no money for several days.”

“Was given a Christmas present of a Jack Wills hoodie bought in store. Was too small. Could not exchange it for another item as there were only two products in the whole of the shop which were my size. They have a no refund policy!”

“Do not Order from them in case you have to return!! Item was a lovely pair of slippers, however they didn’t fit so decided to return them! Should have read the reviews before I ordered! Paid £29.99 for the slippers that included £4.99 for delivery (£25 for the slippers) I wanted to return them and they charged me another £4.99!!! £9.98 in total Disgusting! Was going to order another size but won’t bother will give my money to another company that doesn’t take the mick out of its customers! Won’t be buying from JW again!”

“First and last time for Jack Wills purchase online.Customer Service non existent as their online system is designed to ‘take you round in circles’ to avoid giving an email address or phone number to help with your issue….has to be the worst company I’ve encountered sadly.”

“WARNING - They sent different items than the ones ordered (and pictured on their website and on the order confirmation) After several emails, Jack Wills customer service say they don't have to send the original item, but can send "an item which is different to the one you ordered" (their words). I don't trust this company any more.”

“If I had known I would be charges £4.99 to make a return I would never have placed an order. Including the £4.99 for shipping I have paid £10 to try on 3 t-shirts.I will never order from them again. I hope the £10 was worth it, Jack Wills.”

“Terrible terrible customer service. Bought a skirt it broke very badly within 2 weeks of purchase and I’ve been told there is no way to get a replacement or refund unless I drive an 8 hour round trip back to the store I bought it from. Completely shocked, I’ve never had customer service like it”

“Awful company to do business with! I ordered a pair of snug boots for a gift, which the company took the money out of my account for. After 10 days (and no communication) I spoke to somebody on live chat about where my order was. They told me they would speak to the distribution warehouse about the status of my order. After no further communication I recieved an unexpected refund leaving me to quickly order another gift from another company (who fulfilled their order within 3 days). I have now recieved several emails (from different people within the company) asking me how they can help...they are clearly not communicating with each other. ORDERING FROM JACK WILLS IS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE!”
