“We deliberated on a Bookcase for some time comparing options from Overstock and many other stores. Eventually we chose Overstock because there was one on sale and it had a Ratuken discount. Without any notification or warning, Overstock cancelled our order. Had I not logged on to check the status of the order, I would not have known. Customer service says that after I placed the order they realized they were out of stock. The plan to refund our money but now we have missed out on Black Friday discounts we could have got for alternative options. We asked that they re-instate our order and that we would be happy to wait for re-stock but they refused. We asked that the promise to offer the item at the price we paid for when it came back in stock but they refused. They said when it comes back in stock we could talk to customer service about the "best price" but refused to promise it would be the same price. Even if it was, we have missed out on the Ratuken cashback offer on Black Friday. We are devastated that we are now left without a bookcase and will have to pay hundreds more because of their mistake. My advice to consumers, avoid Overstock; particularly if the product you want is running out. They may never fulfil your order and they won't even tell you when they cancel it.”

“Ordered a patio set which consisted of 2 chairs , loveseat and table . Only received 2 chairs . After almost a month was told the only way to resolve it was for Overstock to ship a complete 2nd set , Pull the items we were missing and return the extra pieces . 2nd shipment came and only consisted of 2 chairs again . After reaching out to Overstock the loveseat and table showed up almost 2 weeks later in a badly damaged box . While in the process of assembling the loveseat there was missing hardware . Reached out again and no response . Filled out missing parts form and included picture, no response . Purchase parts from our hardware store and now I have to box up the duplicate chairs and return them . I’m done with Overstock to say the least . No one made an attempt to try to rectify the problem but just continued to send emails to appease me .”

“RECEIVED WRONG ITEMS. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. ALL THEY WANT TO DO IS TEXT YOU, WE HAVE SPENT DAYS TRYING TO STRAIGHTEN IT OUT. IT IS A SCAM COMPANY!! DON NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!”

“Ordered 3 sets of sheets cost was $119.99. When they arrived I opened one package to exam quality, workmanship, and condition other wise how would one know. They have a "14 DAYS HASSLE FREE RETURN" which is baloney. I returned the three sets as they are poor quality and poor workmanship. I had to pay to have them returned $17.06. These people refunded me $80.00 of my $119.99 saying I opened a package and they could not take them back, according to them it is the law(don't think so). I have paid $57.05 for nothing from these people. One needs to mark down these folks Overstock.com ( Bed Sheet Club) or any other name they market under as beware stay away go to reputable company they send inferior products, you have to pay to return and then they do not refund. How would one inspect a product if they do not open it? Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I have done business with almost every location on the internet without this type of problem. Stay Away there are many reputable places that will not cheat you like this.”

“What went wrong? It's more like nothing is right with Overstock.com. Overstock.com would sell the product to you, yet it's more like shopping at Daiso in CA where you can buy as much as like but there is NO return or even exchange. I tried a pair of Sketcher Harper Melden shoes for ONE day to get a feel for it before I decide to keep it or return it, and it looks like Overstock.com and their third party seller Shoebuy/Shoes.com would not accept this pair of a-few-hours young shoes with not even a scratch or wear on it. So buy with them at your own peril and dare you try the shoes on. You better like the pair you have tried because you are stuck with them now!”
