“Poundland Barking store Normally I shop at the Wickford store but on a few occasions while visiting my mum I visit the Poundland store in Barking. A few times ive been served by a lovely Polish Lady Ewelina She is such a lovely and always so cheery and polite and helpful I was buying a few clothes and some Vases. She did fold them nicely and wrapped my vases with a good care.My mum always likes to be served by her as she always welcome everyone with a smile and excellent service. Ive been in lots of other stores and don't really see the stuff folding clothes or wrapping any of the glasses.Also Ive never heard of the app Perks before till she told me.I only downloaded today and wanted to share my review here. This lady deserves a big star.Such an amazing service.Wish there was more people like her taking a good care of customers stuff.”

“Went to Poundland, Bescot Walsall. Thursday 2nd May 2024, served by a very friendly and helpfulyoung man.. Paid by card. Very stupidly left my card in the machine. A lovely lady handed it in to cashier. Cashier came running after me as j was about to get in my car. Really wish I had got his name. He is a credit to you Poundland”

“I HAVE SPENT QUITE A LOT ON COFFEE FROTHERS AND FOR VARIOUS REASONS HAVE HAD NO LUCK UNTIL I BOUGHTWITH YOUR TEA INFUSER FOR £4. ITS ABSOLUTLY BRILLIANT - I USE ABOUT 3/4 HOT WATER AND ADD THE FROTHY MILK (WITH A LITTLE SINGLE CREAM ADDED) AND IT WHIPS UP A TREAT - SO PLEASED WITH MY CAPPACHINO! MARY TIBBLES”

“New store I Rotherham. On first visit week after opening, lady on till very pleasant and answered all my queries. Bought £1 wax melt burner in black, looks super in my flat. Again all staff cheerful.”

“Left my ipad at the till in poundland the galleries Bristol. Didn't realize untill after closing time. I left a message on their answer phone and got a call first thing in the morning that they had found it. Thank you so much, fantastic people in there, especially the manager. Not everybody would have been this good about it. Thanks again, restored faith in humans.”

“I went to poundland in Bromley today. I was looking at a radio but couldn't figure out the battery scenaro, but Faterna figured it out for me she was so helpful, then my money wouldn't go in the machine just like that Faterna was cheerful to help me, WELL DONE”

“Today I had the most wonderful service from Vikki at longbridge Birmingham. We had heard her going above and beyond to another customer and the same to myself. Always smiling. Clearly cares about the service she gives. I would like this wonderful lady to be recognised and commended on the service she gives. Not just today but any day she is there. Thank you Vikki you made our day. Vikki was so polite to me and my Nan and she is always interacting with the customers and her demeanour is lovely, she really is a credit to the store.”

“I visited the St Helen's store today to return an item. Unfortunately I did not have a receipt. I have to say the staff could not have been more helpful. After asking me some information about my purchase they were able to trace it and gave me a refund. I felt I had excellent customer service. Thank You.”

“I’ve been looking for the wooden lid jars everywhere since I discovered it on TikTok, popped into my local Poundland unfortunately they didn’t have any, spoke to an assistant manager named farhana excellent customer service, she done the check on the delivery and told me to come back the following day as they will have more in stock. I finally have my jars thanks to farhana.”

“Brilliant prices for the vunerable on the breadline particularly on food & shops Staff very friendly & helpful, im disabled I just double check reduced items, I understand Its not always possible to relabel over bar codes when they keep costs so low Where else could i buy 2 microwave egg cooking items whilst im struggling to cook for 50p! 12 eggs for £1, my lovely pumkin Seeds to toast & sprinkle on foods & a padded bra for £2.50 rather than expensive breast cancer bras! Thanks for helping the vunerable to feed healthily & clothe themselves You helped me after id battled cancer for the third time & couldnt work Thank you for helping local communities Poundland & the vunerable 💖”

“I shop in the Poundland in Edgware broadwalk the staff are very helpful especially a lady called kajall she is always there with a pleasant smile and she is so helpful she’s there in the morning and on many occasions I’ve witnessed her calming down very difficult customers ! I as an employer know it’s very hard to get good and committed staff ! And she’s very good👌👌”
