“Bully shouts at people to use machines upon doing so change was given in 1p 2p 5p etc when asked cashier if she would change it she agreed bully comes and tells her not to he counts change I tell him to stick it and walk out hope the shift end balance should be surplus if not you have a staff problem”
“I received 2 faulty items in my order and emailed a photo to customer service. I received an email saying that I would receive a refund- that was in August- still haven’t received a refund and no reply to my 2 further emails”
“Just shopped in Harringey store, untrained mysterious shopper/ security followed me only to get a taste of their own medicine. Surely you can spend some £££ and train your security to be professional at their job. Not everyone goes to poundland for shoplifting. It was not only uncomfortable being followed around the store but also seeing how uncomfortable they felt when the table turned. Not everyone walks in your stores has shoplifting intention, we can’t do without you and can’t either without us the consumers. So lets work together, get professionally trained securities and give consumers a nice atmosphere to shop before you pack it in for real.”

What a joke! I rang them as my local store has not had any compost in stock for over 2 weeks.
The person who took my call said that she was unable to help me if I did not have a barcode. I don’t work for Poundland, that is your duty to check on the computer, surely living in the 21st century this cannot be that hard to check!
If you have dumb and lazy workers like this. No wonder so many of the stores are closing down.”
“I have had several deliveries from Poundland all very good the last delivery I had 2 damaged items which were refunded straight away cannot fault them”
“Will never order online again! Absolutely shocking over half of my items were missing! The stuff that came was crushed , just basically been thrown in a box! Terrible ! Had to phone customer service! Avoid!”
“Nothing went wrong with me to be honest..but I'm very disappointed with Poundland.. I went to Poundland Leyton branch and I saw how the manager was treating the staff.. it was like their are slaves..OMG he was bullying with very bad words.. the manager is so rude!!!! In my opinion it's better to stay unemployed but never ever work with Poundland.. very bad manager it's not good to treat the staff like he was.. I never expected this in London stores”
“Terrible service.
I ordered, amongst other things, three tins of biscuits. Only two turned up, which were smashed.
I contacted them several times via reply email to the order, direct email to their customer service and also on their website and still have not had a reply.
Looks like I'll have to do a card charge back.
Will not use again!”
“Went to billingham poundland today my app wouldn't work only one person serving 🙃 I did apologise but he was obviously not interested..so ended up paying full price for items I could of saved on was trying to sort app but felt under pressure from him obviously got no patients at all....”

Normally I shop at the Wickford store but on a few occasions while visiting my mum I visit the Poundland store in Barking.
A few times ive been served by a lovely Polish Lady Ewelina
She is such a lovely and always so cheery and polite and helpful
I was buying a few clothes and some Vases.
She did fold them nicely and wrapped my vases with a good care.My mum always likes to be served by her as she always welcome everyone with a smile and excellent service.
Ive been in lots of other stores and don't really see the stuff folding clothes or wrapping any of the glasses.Also Ive never heard of the app Perks before till she told me.I only downloaded today and wanted to share my review here.
This lady deserves a big star.Such an amazing service.Wish there was more people like her taking a good care of customers stuff.”
