“I had a bad experience with this company, not because their products, which are great, but because the courier they use for delivery.
I ordered a scooter with enough time to receive it for my holidays. But then I received an email with the details of delivery, saying that the courier can arrive anytime until 9pm.
I have to go out to prepare things for my trip and cannot wait the whole day for the parcel. This courier they use doesn't allow to leave the parcel in a safe place. Skatehut, doesn't answer the phone, and their chat is not live, so it may be too late when they reply to my query.
I won't recommend ordering anything with them, at least you have nothing better to do the whole day, but waiting for your parcel.”
“Item never delivered. Customer service enjoyed a week long blame game with courier company. Still haven’t received a refund and I have a bad feeling they going to do everything they can just to keep the money. Please stay away from them.”

I gave them the benefit of the doubt as they were cheapest for an Xmas pressie so ordered 5 days ago said would be delivered on or before 14th Dec, now the 15th and hasn't even left the warehouse. “Worst people ever to deal with NO CUSTOMER CARE , Just take young kids savings and dont give a cow poo afterwards. My son spent £380 with them and scooter was put together badly causing damage in first two weeks! spent first 3 months in pieces while we treid and talk to SkateHut. But with all the excuses or just plain ignoring you ! They didnt care, got my sons money and that was that !
AVOID AT ALL COSTS plenty of better shops out there as ive now learnt .

“Horrible customer service. Their mic sounds like a nokia brick phone. Bodged my delivery two times, third time I asked for a refund and yet they still resent it, this time delivering it to a random person. Absolutely incompetent cash grab. Support local skate business and not this trash company. I had to call customer service each time and I was never contacted regarding any of the issues.”

“We bought a scooter from Skatehut for my son's birthday. He was scooting home from school recently and the bars suddenly snapped, throwing him into the road and causing cuts and bruising, as well as obvious emotional trauma. I called SkateHut immediately and was told to fill out a warranty form, which I did on Friday.
I spent the whole weekend thinking about how much worse this could have been if he had been near traffic or going faster.
Today, Skatehut got back to me and said there was nothing they could do as the scooter is more than six months old. Essentially, if you buy a product from them, it's only guaranteed to last six months. If your child is injured (or worse) by something you've bought from them, they don't care. They also don't care that they're selling goods that are absolutely not fit for purpose - I regularly checked the scooter and made sure that it was in good working order, and the bars shouldn't suddenly snap like that. They have made absolutely no effort to establish what happened.
We learned the hard way not to shop here. Don't make the same mistake we did.”
“delivery of damaged bike tried to communicate regarding this but each time you call have to go over it again as no notes kept have asked to speak to customer service manager but no joy, if you call on customer service line no answer they answer eventually on sales line.”
“Bought some Skates just before Christmas and after my boy tried them on, they immediately tore on the ankle cuffs. Returned the Skates for a refund but was told as they had been worn, they would not refund me for the defective Skates. In this regard they did not honour my Statutory Rights. Shoddily made, poorly sized products (my daughters Skates sized above her foot size are perfect, my smallest Skates were tight fitting despite being a size above his foot size). A terrible company that I couldn’t recommend to my worse enemy. Avoid like the plague!!!”
