“If I had known it was going to take as long as it did I would have probably gone to another supplier. When they eventually did arrive (well after the use window that year) the actual kit was really good but by then we had gone through the summer period when the most use would have been.”

“Worked in the end, but a long wait to delivery. Pedal sensor fixing to frame does not offer enough flexibility to cater for the frame tube sizes. This is critical as the sensor needs to be exactly and securely fixed to work reliably. Plastic ring of magnets used to trigger the sensor is vulnerable to damage and misalignment.”

“Nearly all the parts work greatly,but not the standard control power unit (without display).I couldn't set any lower speed or power,even at the lowest settings it speeds up to more than 30 km/h.Therefore the larger battery gives only 20 km of range because of less power from myself.So I got the OLED display which is very good, but expensive.With this I could set a fitting power step and more range.If you have to pay the full price for the set,maybe its a litte bit high.But the battery format is much better than most of these bottle cage batteries of your competitors”

“I'm recovering from having both knees replaced and wanted an e-bike to help in my rehab. This bike has been exactly what I needed to get me back on. I don't believe I would have ridden much at all without the "peddle assist". I can do between 5-10 miles easily on the battery and basically just use the power on hills and inclines. I've not needed to contact the company for any customer service in the 6 months I've had the bike. My husband (not a bike mechanic) was able to set it up after having a local bike shop switch out the wheel. I'm very happy with the bike and have told everyone I know its a great alternative to buying an expensive e-bike. It suits my needs perfectly.”

“The kit is very good and enables me to continue using the bike that has been my favourite for many years. Easy to fit and just the right amount of help for my aging legs. All instructions on PDF are thorough and easy to understand. Messages sent via this website do receive helpful attention quite quickly. There are just a few niggle which means that I only give 4 stars. I had to pay upfront in full and wait over 4 months for delivery. UPS delivery is appalling. £700 worth of kit was left on my doorstep while I was away from home. It could easily have been stolen and the loss would be mine. Similarly when I purchased an extra battery, UPS dumped the package on my doorstep without contacting me. There is a problem with the OLED control panel. The power level buttons are too small and difficult to operate while riding. A small bump in the road can send the power level way up or down to zero. I hope that this might be improved.”

“It was fairly easy to fit and reassuring that they checked I had done it properly. I was a little disappointed by the range of the battery, but glad that I had bought a kit and a spare battery. I was glad that the kit arrived later than I had been told, so it was not put on my bike I do long rides on, but is used for shopping trips mainly (several miles into town and back up a serious hill!). It would have been very disappointing on the longer-ride bike!”

“It all works very well. The instructions are reasonably easy to follow but the magnetic disk is a challenge. I certainly would recommend this e-bike conversion kit.”

“Delivery of my Swytch kit was within the window - though only just, by one day! The A frame mount I'd ordered wasn't available, so I was offered a seat post mount instead, which works well, though the cable runs are long. (the A frame mount has very recently now arrived, but I'm thinking twice about fitting it as all the previous work will need to be redone). So far no problems with the kit, which seems pretty robust and was generally easy to fit. Customer service was great though, quick responses, extra cables provided free of charge - very good indeed. The riding experience is good - smooth power delivery and good response to the brake sensors etc. Changing power levels on the standard handlebar mounted LED display can be a bit tricky on the move though. The lowest power setting is enough to overcome the drag of the motor and provide gentle assistance, giveing just over an hour's riding, depending on the terrain. On higher settings the battery drain is noticeably greater. So for local rides it's perfect, but I've bought another conventional bike for longer trips!”

“The company was responsive via email to problems I had with my initial computer module. I received replacement parts quickly. The kit comes with very clear instructions and easy installation. Setup was also relatively clear.”

“Very nice design!! Sensor is bulky and not so efficient it mooves very easily, should try another at the botom bracket. In the several kits instaled this components fad fail: Control handle bar mount, display failed twice, You did response unfortunately you didn´t send parts to Mexico so I had to bring them from Laredo.”

“Very happy with the product and performance of the bike. I have a Brompton & it was not very clear on the website that you need a different Swytch product for this type of bike so initially I ordered the wrong one but once this was established they quickly altered the order. The only problem I found when fitting it - is that the mudguard bracket, which also incorporates the latch when the bike is folded, did not fit on the larger diameter wheel hub spindle & required a 'home-made' alteration which was not ideal.”

“I do enjoy my swytch kit adaptation. I get to keep my own bike and enhance it at the same time. The setup might require help if you have no mechanical skills(tools confuse you). Regardless, get one and feel the freedom!”

“The axle is too big, they would not assist in anyway to fix the issue. Wanted US TO fix it, can't use the kit. We bought two what a waste. ABSOLUTELY terrible terrible service and misrepresentation.”
