“Great piece of kit makes cycling a joy. There is a difference in led light display on battery and controller showing how much battery left.”

“Easy to fit and professional components, disappointing range (about 15miles). Soon after purchasing a new version brought out with increased range but we are expected to just pay again, no option for a discount to return existing smaller battery set.”

“The system works well but would appreciate a better online shop for accessories. I wanted a better controller and received a different one but not the one I thought. This was due to the website not being clear. It is also ashame that you can't charge the batteries with a simple phone charger cable.”

“Total game changer for my work commute. So much fun - I now look forward to going to the office. Only reason it's 4 stars not 5 is that the LED screen and the battery don't show consistent power levels. LED often shows battery is low/dead when the pack shows at least 3 bars remaining... Weird and on one ride it led to the power cutting off...? But that might be an early syncing issue.”

“Easy to set up and makes my commute a dream now. Had a small issue and got quick and prompt replies from customer service who sent me out spare parts. Would absolutely recommend to anybody interested in converting their bike. Only room for improvement in my eyes is battery capacity especially on cold days I find the range reduces a bit even if I am managing the power and when the battery dies die the bike definitely feels heavier to cycle when not under power, though it is still absolutely manageable”

“I am a 60 yo women and I was able to fit the kit. So it is pretty easy to do. The only down side is that the magnetic disc does not fit properly on my pedal axle and get out of line easily as it is wobbly. I will try to have it glued in place for the next season. I was told that it was near impossible to change that part on the bike for one that would fit. Other thing that happened while climbing a hill, the front wheel kind of blocked suddenly. Not sure what was the issue there, I thought that if the battery was dead I would have been still able to ride the bike normally. So I had to walk with the bike up the hill. If this is caused by battery being dead, maybe it could warn us in advance.”

“Got my Swytch kit for a great price, had a small issue with the spindle not fitting in the fork stays but the online helpline were very responsive and I managed to get it sorted with a file. All been good so far, surprised me good it actually is!”

“Costumer service until now answer all my questions. Price is a bit high for my budget, but maybe not for others. Long time waiting for delivery of parts that were missing. Great to refund the discount.”

“It works very well but was tricky to fit as had to file down edges to fit also would be much better if there was a light accessory to go with the bike and the battery lights don't seem to match up with screen accessory”

“Customer service was very good.I wanted to exchange part of the kit I bought and this was handed very quickly and efficiently. I cycle regularly and just wanted the Swytch kit to help me up some of our local hills. The basic kit was just right for this.”

“I am travelling everywhere with my Dwytch Brompton and love it! Disadvantages are there too: short range, timespan until engine reacts quite big. Otherwise fine!”

“This second generation battery is much better than the first one I had. The wheel hub motor has been flawless. The only real draw back is the wait time to get products. I have a guy who saw my setup and he ordered one for himself. He seems to like his setup.”

“It is fairly easy to set up with easy to follow instructions. Operation straight forward. Clarity when ordering extras could be improved as I ended up with a duplicate controller. When riding the bike it is great to travel up steep hills with the same effort as on the flat.”

“Lots of advice from support staff and i was ultimately offered a replacement part, however this took about 2 months to arrive as it was out of stock. First proper 10 mile ride was a bit hilly and windy, the battery began cutting out on the way home, but it provides a very welcome boost on the hills!”

“Wait time was reasonable, the kit was complete. My inexperience with tire swapping and fitting the sensor, etc., made the upgrade on my old Trek model road bike a bit arduous, however I got through it and am a better person for it... no fault of the Swytch team for my learning curve. Two things I can suggest: make sure to check axle dimension and provide the correct dimension at the time you place the order. I received 10mm axle. My bike has 9mm, so I had to modify the receivers to make the kit work. It works, no complaints. Maybe Swytch could build in a verification question in their ordering process? The other thing is the digital controller needed a separate mounting bracket because it would not fit on my handlebars. Swytch compensated me for correcting that, thank you! Again, no complaints!”
