I like the conversation. I may be wrong, but I thought I had an option to select an option that would allow me to get assistance beyond 15 MPH

I was a relatively earlier adopter with straightforward needs and standard touring bicycle. All went well and no problems. I do not need to upgrade as I've got what I want until battery dies eventually. System is rarely used anyway. Only problem I've had is sometimes the battery is very difficult to remove from handlebar assembly so causes panic if a train involved!!

The Swytch package is neat and compact. It provides just the right amount of assistance to get over small hills or long steady slopes when the battery is fully charged. This prevents me from getting overly exhausted. However, when the battery is discharged below 50% the power assist disengages suddenly under load and pedaling becomes difficult. Also the battery capacity and range does not appear to be as stated.

I am very happy with my original kit that has transformed my mountain bike. The up front payment and slightly delayed delivery was a bit disconcerting but once fitted the kit has been fantastic! Having had both hips replaced and uncomfortable with getting out of the saddle to power up hills the assistance from the Swytch kit made my bike a pleasure to ride again. Another bonus I have not heard mentioned is that when I cycle along muddy surfaces , canal tracks etc I have 2 wheel drive !!! My only suggestion for the future would be to have outlets where the kits are available to view as all the variations available now are slightly confusing and it would be nice to know a guaranteed delivery date.

Great kit but the front wheel install was problematic as the wheel did not fit into the front forks of my existing bike. This meant I either had to enlarge the fork gap or decrease the wheel spindle width (I'm sure this is not the correct term). I filed out the forks a little and all was well, but later found out that I should really have filed the wheel instead in order not to compromise the bike. So far so good.

Deliver as promised in product and support. Professional in all my experience over several years. Innovative in product and technology judged by the backward compatibility of new products!

The Swytch is a fantastic quality product - once it's on your bike. My preorder delivery was delayed several times, and the install required modifications only my bike mechanic son could make. BUT, I DO LOVE MY Swytch. Riding to work or to get a few groceries is now an enjoyable option.

I've used the Swytch kit on my vintage mixte frame racer and it's definitely made me fall in love with the bike all over again. I've been using it more for things I wouldn't necessarily have chosen the bike for before like big shopping trips because I'm not a strong cyclist. It just gives the extra boost I need and also helps keeping up when cycling with friends. Did have to wait absolutely ages for the kit to arrive which was a bit of a shame but other than that have recommended it to many friends. I also lost a screw from the control because my handlebars were a little too wide for it but fitting an extension bar and buying a new screw with the input from the customer service team as to the right bit to get solved that issue.

One of the original buyers (2) of the Swytch kit. Works well, but would have liked to upgrade to physically smaller and lighter battery. Requested info when 1st announced, but not originally available as an upgrade and would inform when available. Not heard anymore?

I wasn’t able to climb the Cork Ireland hills until I upgraded to the UK Swytch kit. However big surprise to be charged an extra 130 Euro in Duties as a result of Brexit.

Only 4 stars due to length of time till delivered, but can understand as it was during covid outbreaks. I 1st battery worked 1st time then bugged out. Back working after a factory reset. Thanks tech team 2nd generation battery is working great. Was thinking of getting a throttle, but realised my battery would last longer if I choose to use the power only for climbs.

Once we sorted what was causing an intermittent fault it has been fab. This was after a few returns (which were dealt with well) when we realised there was a loose connection.

Long Delivery, kit complete and undamaged. Easy to install. I have only a issue with battery charge indicator, when the battery is depleted, the indicator un the pack still have 2 or 3 led on.

An absolutely brilliant design implemented cleverly and with style and passion. I was an early adopter for the crowd funded release and my only comment is the controller battery on the handlebars was an imbalance. It does however mount equally well on the cross bar

I give the kit four stars because it takes a long time to ship to ITALY after ordering. (about one year) Nevertheless, I am very happy of the kit and enjoying myself with the new e-bike. Thanks

I purchased the Swytch kit to convert my bike into an e-bike since I couldn't find any affordable e-bikes that would fit my 6'5" frame. The conversion kit seemed like the perfect solution as it allowed me to use my XXL bike. I learned how to install it by watching numerous YouTube videos and the Swytch support team also provided me with assistance. Although I experienced a power failure, the support staff was quick to provide me with a replacement part, and I give them five stars for their excellent service. While I would like to upgrade my original kit, I have decided not to do so. I give the kit four stars because it takes a long time to ship to the States after ordering, and Swytch doesn't offer a trade-in option. Nevertheless, I am happy with the kit overall.

I bought the universal kit for my road bike. Overall it has been a success, and i am very happy with it. I commute from Bingham to Derby (32 miles) and i can just about make it on 1 charge (with the power set to its lowest setting), but i do turn it off when going downhill and sometimes on the flat when im coasting in top gear. It isn't all positive, my main gripes - a) the wheel didn't fit my road forks, so i had to manually grind down the axles on the wheels and lugged washers (easy to get wrong!). b) The dashboard doesn't fit oversized road handlebars, so i have had to bodge a fitment for it. c) if you puncture it is a right pain to change out on the road as the wheels aren't quick release, there are cables with specific fitment orientations and the wheel axle fit can be a bit tight (due to grinding). That said, overall it has given me exactly what i want and makes my commute much easier.

Fairly easy to fit - however ended up turning the battery mount to face rider as the battery was interfering with the brake cables. Have used it a few times and it works very well.

The kit works well with the bicycle and enhances the ride. A typical ride is 25km in distance with no issues running out of battery. Even if the battery ran out, it’s not heavy enough to hinder the ride.
