Disregard towards a long term customer and money loss making delivery service. An order placed a week in advance arrives two days later. I've been a client of the Vauxhall branch for many years all went pretty smoothly except the last order. I placed the order with Darrin O'Connor a week in advance to make sure that we'll have it delivered on the day in the morning. The day comes but no order is delivered. After chasing them repeatedly over the phone in the branch, because Darrin wasn't answering his phone, they acknowledged that they have no stock hence no delivery. They promised a delivery for the following day in the morning. And it didn't happen. I started chasing them again halfway through the morning and they promised that the driver is close. I kept chasing and same reply although the time was passing. In the afternoon still no delivery until almost 3pm. By this time the work day was almost over and my team waited 2 days of work (paid in full) for this order without which the project couldn't start. Still no news from Darrin. Starting with the manager, except the usual "we do our best", there was no real action to put this straight in any way or even better to contain it before it became so worse.

After all the hard work the staff do across the number of brand's Travis Perkins own and the amount of money they make for the Travis Perkins brand's the staff will only get SSP if they have to self isolate due to the corona virus and if Boris Johnston puts the country on lockdown they will only get SSP after everything they do for the Travis Perkins brand's and all the millions Travis Perkins makes they should be ashamed of themselves and should look after all those loyal staff members. stop being greedy Travis Perkins and look after your staff. You would be nowhere without them

The one in Cambridge near the college. They are rude, thick and sexist and do not know what they are selling or what things are for. Unbelievable

Not impressed up to now. I have ordered 3 internal doors. I was emailed a delivery date for the following day, also received a text confirming. Given 8-6 timescale. No delivery or phone call to advise why! Got another text this morning stating delivery will be between 7-12. No call to check if this s convenient. Shocking service, will see if they arrive today but after reading reviews I am not convinced.

Do not buy from this company they do not accept returns as they say they do. I went to return a unopened pave tuf which costs about £45 only to be told its not on their computer. I offered my address and card number as they delivered it! No refund and just fobbed off!!! I'm now stuck with it. I even offered bank statement only to be told there's no proof that it was from our branch - JOKE, they delivered it

My resent experiences with Travis Perkins can be described as poor at best. They managed to consistently underperform throughout the course of our building project which resulted in higher costs and significant delays with the build. It is my experience that they have a contempt for there customers which is as present in stored, as it is at head office. We had to contend with there inability to deliver at the agreed date, the supplying of faulty materials, over charging, charging for materials we had not ordered and total incompetence when rectifying their own mistakes. I would strongly recommend choosing a different building merchants until Travis Perkins take real steps to resolve their frankly terrible approach to customer service.

I used this company for many years from the mid eighties and spent a lot of money with them. I sold my company (replacement windows) in 2017 and out of the blue in 2019 I get a demand from TP for monies owed by the new directors who took the company into liquidation. Their argument is that they have found a personal guarantee signed by me back in 2006!!! So, all the fluff on their website about family values and moral trading is just that, fluff! TP's credit control department tells me they never take action against Directors who are no longer associated with a company who owe them money but in my case their legal department are doing so. Here's my suggestion to you all. Check if you have what looks like a personal guarantee with them (Beware, it might not look like a Personal Guarantee!) and tell them you want it removed or else you are going to cancel your account.

Ordered two bulk bags of top soil and was given a delivery date. When soil failed to arrive by lunch time on date in question, I called to enquire when it would be delivered. I was assured that it was on the lorry and would be delivered that afternoon. It wasn’t. I called back the following day and was told it wasn’t in stock the previous day, but it would be delivered by 11am this day. I wasn’t. Two days loss of earnings and the inconvenience of waiting around. Unfortunately I can’t claim this back from Travis Perkins but I can never shop there again.

Staff at my local branch cannot do enough for their customers however ordering bulk purchases online for delivery is an absolute joke. Unlike ALL their competitors their website does not tell you when items are currently out of stock, they take payment, provide a pointless delivery date (because the item(s) are not in stock and they have no idea when they will be back in stock) and then on the delivery day you were given you get the bad news and have to wait another week. If call Customer Services you speak to someone whose paid to apologise and that's it! Both times I've ordered online for delivery I've been properly let down - NEVER AGAIN!

Expensive compared with their competitors, accept payment on goods that are currently out of stock but don't tell you until you've paid. Estimated delivery days are always way off and a Customer Service department that is totally clueless.

Delivery service is very poor. Ordered a large bag of bark with a provisional delivery date on line of 4 days later. They rang but could not deliver until the next day. We organised someone to transfer and spread the bark on behalf of an elderly relative. On the morning of delivery it was cancelled by TP and arranged first thing for 2 days later. We again arranged for someone to transfer the bark. It was not delivered until after 3 30 despite yet another broken promise of delivery early afternoon and us chasing up delivery by phone, 3 times. The person who was spreading the bark had other commitments and could not wait any longer. Very poor service TP

Really poor service. They don't care, they don't call back, you have no chance to get a quote out of them, total time wasters. Brought some brick and render from them because they had an offer on. And to this date I still cannot get my invoices which total over £5k. Really annoyed

I bought composite decking from Travis in Burnham on Crouch last year. After six months the surface started to disintegrate. I contacted them but they wouldn't come out, they sent the rep from the manufacturer. This very arrogant man said I was wrong and that product was the same as when I bought it. This item has a 10 year guarantee but they won't replace the faulty parts. Don't buy decking from Travis Perkins as the are selling substandard products.

Ordered 6 oak internal doors at the beginning of last week. Was told they would be delivered this morning At 12 noon I rang marple branch to be told they had transport issues and it would be loaded onto the delivery vehicle when it returned to the branch A simple phone call at some point during the morning to explain difficulties would have been courteous and helpful Had to cancel commitment for this afternoon Don’t think I will be using them again or recommending TP to anyone
