“The worst! Ordered a pair of trainer as advertised by veja as free delivery and no taxes to pay. Ups will not release my trainers without me paying an £88 tax. I have tried 4 times to get help from veja by email....still waiting!!!! I have paid £130 for a pair of trainers that are stuck in the post brexit system. Disgusting customer service by Veja.”
After 6 months after purchase, the shoes had a big hole between sole and leather, and I really did not wore them a lot, I guess 30 or 40 times And what´s the answer? Not our problem, 6 months after purchase it´s due to daily use. Sustainibility? Eco-friendly? Not at all. They simply don´t care about their customers.”

Simple explanation is that they really, really don’t care about you.
Two times they stopped my order.
Orders are made within a year.
First time without explanation, the second time I made mistake with address, I contacted them immediately and they never replied to my email. But they did on Instagram, saying that I will receive my shoes as they changed the address correctly. After one month waiting they informed me (via Instagram!) that they are canceling the order. And I still dont have any info when they will refund my money.
So unprofessional, and continue behave unprofessionally.
I will never try to order again anything from Veja.”
“Hi, I purchased a pair of Veja shoes back in March just at the beginning of COVID-19. I could not find my size or the style I wanted anywhere in the US so I purchased right from the Veja website. BIG MISTAKE!!!! They don’t tell you it’s going to cost 50% of the cost of the shoes to ship them back because they to not offer a US return address like some of the other overseas retail like Tilley Endurables Hats. I hope this email saves others from purchasing directly through their company and going broke just to send them back. I believe if your going to offer your product in the US then figure out a way for people here to ship back easily. Shame on you!”
“I ordered, tried shoes (made from leather) on and one shoelace hole just cracked. Send shoes back to them and waited. Then reminded them should already recieve their shoes back and that i stated on return form i want money refund. No answer, I just get automatic email that I have on my veja profile credit store. I send them email again, politely asking ehat happened and that I want my refund and they refuse to give me money back. If you are thinking about getting shoes from them dont because quality is so poor id be ashamed to sell such stuff. Customer support is awful and obviously they dont respect costumers and laws. Rather get a pair of Nikes or Adidas. Will never buy from Veja again. Or Veja in general.”
“We send two pair of shoes back after waiting for them about 6 weeks to be delivered. Never got an E-mail of our Retour.... The money is not returned even. It is a shame for a Fairtrade company.
We have a Fairtrade shop as well. Never behaved like this to our customer.

Clothes are cheap and of unsatisfactory quality. I ordered 4 items being 2 coats and 2 trenches. Only 3 arrived and since trying to return all 3 items that did arrive due to poor quality and cheap make, have still not received a response from the 4 emails I have sent in the last month the customer service number as instructed on the returns mention and web address.
DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE AND PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.

“WISH I HAD READ THE TERRIBLE REVIEWS BEFORE I ORDERED ONLINE FROM VEJA. APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND IT HAS TAKEN 7 WEEKS FOR ME TO GET A REFUND!! I placed my order on July 17th and paid 10 euros for “24 hr” delivery> When they did not arrive the next day I called their Customer Services and was told the “24 hr” does not start until the item has been dispatched! This was not at all clear on their website. I therefore cancelled my order on the 19th July 2019 as the item had still not been dispatched and requested a full and immediate refund at the same time which I was entitled to especially as the goods had not even left VEJA. Unfortunately I had to deal with “LOUISE” in Customer Service who refused to give me a refund until the items had been returned to Veja - even though they had not left Veja! I was then told by LOUISE that I would have to send her a signed sworn statement together with my ID confirming that I had not already collected my order!! Next email from LOUISE told me that she would be asking the local Colissimo for their video tape so she could check “who” had collected the item!! Truly unbelievable and objectionable and insulting. I then wrote to the Group CEO with an email address I found online, surprise, surprise no response from her whatsoever. I am appalled. If Louise represents VEJA and their Corporate values then the VELA Brand won’t be around for long!! IF I COULD GIVE VEJA A ZERO STAR RATING I ABSOLUTELY WOULD.”

Their customer service is very rude. And I received an answer: "I understand that it's not your fault if the sneakers don't fit you, but indeed it is not our responsibility either". How the company don't want to be responsible for an exchange.”
In today's 'Age' Newspaper 16 Feb '19 under title "Pack it Amsterdam' there's an article under SHOES detailing the Veja Roraima Desert sneakers as Vegan. When I visit the See veja-store.com I find they are made of leather.”
