Could Be Better
I'm sure it's mainly a trap for men buying gifts. Poor quality jewelry, rubbish returns policy and rrps that someone just makes up to let people think they are getting a bargain. You do not get value for money, you get a piece of tat that has been massively overvalued. No refunds so buyer beware.

Bought an item there as a gift for my wife. She didn't like it, so I tried to exchange it. Was refused as the store assistant found a minuscule scratch on it. The item has been in the box since the purchase and was removed only to try on and then placed back in under a minute. I am absolutely confident the scratch was there when they sold me the item as I haven't done anything to it to cause any sort of damage. They basically sold me an item in a condition they deem unsalable.

I was very disappointed in how I was treated in the Reading store today, I am a regular customer to the store and this particular occasion I went in to buy a bracelet for mother's day. I liked the swarovski crystal heart bracelet being displayed at £15. The guy took the code from the window and went to find it, only to come back to tell me that I'm not allowed it at that price, admitting they had changed the prices for the sale which wasn't starting yet. His colleague came to explain to me saying that prices online are different in store and that's the reason for the price difference but she seemed shocked when I said that it was the price in the window. After the guy stood pretending to be helping us by flicking a folder for 15 minutes, i got told I wasn't allowed the bracelet and if I did want it I would have to wait for the sale, but he wouldn't tell me when that was gonna be, I would just have to turn up and hope for the best. I was upset when my boyfriend explained how he used to work in the jewellery industry and they weren't allowed to change sale item price labels until the day. The employee went on to raise his voice telling him that he can do what he wants and that my boyfriend didn't know anything. Other customers looked at us, making us feel humiliated, some of the customers walking out also disgusted in the way we had been treated. We left empty handed and never wanting to step in a store of yours again.

Diabolical customer service I would warn everyone NOT to purchase from here. Products are over priced and poor quality and lose their sparkle in just a few weeks. Above all, their instore customer service is the worst i have ever experienced to date and they have the most rude and obnoxious staff who need some serious training on customer relations. Having read the negative reviews online and everyone complaining of the same issue it appears Warren James are just an all out incompetent company with atrocious customer service running rampant across ALL their branches nationwide. I was gifted a ring costing in excess of £100 which did not fit, i attempted to return it instore at the Halifax branch and the rude staff accused me of wearing it and scratching it and refused to refund or exchange. I was outraged to say the least and had to pursue a complaint with head office to return the ring. I was forced to make 3 visits to the store just to get my refund where staff treated me like a criminal and demanded i produce some formal I.D to get my refund ( in addition to my original card i paid with). Never have i experienced anything so diabolical in my life. The obnoxious staff member informed me that they categorically have a NO REFUND policy for any item bought instore. So people need to be made aware that once you have purchased a product instore, its impossible to get a refund if you change your mind after a few days. This is NOT made clear on the receipt. A 1 star rating is too generous for these crooks, will never be purchasing from here again.

My fiance bought an engagement ring in Warren James Bournemouth store. In last year December when my ring was just over year old the diamond fallen out of the ring. I went to store to give me a replacement ring but they said as it is over a year they can't do anything. So then I wrote an email complaint to the customer service, but they haven't even reply to me. Then I sent a post them, and then finally they respond to me by email. I clearly stated in my complaint that it is happened as the claws on the ring was faulty and didn't hold the diamond properly. Then they said I can take the ring back to the store, but in the store I have been told that they have to send it to the head office to give me a quote how much is it cost to repair. I didn't want to pay for it as it wasn't my fault so I sent an other complaint to the customer service. After that the replay to me if I get the ring and certificate just take it to the store and I will get a new one. Finally after a month I received an email that is done now and they will send it to the Bournemouth store. During this time I went for holiday for 2 weeks and when I came back I went to the store, they said they don't have it. I wait an other week and I went in as they said they will get in next week, but they still didn't have it then next week they called me then is arrived now. So after 3 mont I got my ring but guess what? They gave me a ring with much worst quality diamond what I had. Don't waste your time and your money, stay away from them. Rubbish quality and rubbish customer service. I never shopping anything from Warren James again

I bought a gold chain and a beautiful white gold and diamond ring from the Perth store. they did not have my size, but were happy to order it for me. To my delight, the ring came much earlier than expected, it is beautiful, good quality, absolutely no issues with them. thumbs up to Perth branch!!!

Absolutely disgusted, myself & my partner went into the Grosvenor Centre branch in Northampton town and they refused to let him try a necklace on without paying for it in full before doing so! Who on earth would pay £800 to try a necklace on & if it was not suitable wait 3-5 working days for their money to be returned to them. I can only assume it is because he is coloured :(

My husband bought me a pair of earrings for Christmas. Unusual for him as he hates shopping and we are elderly but he wanted to get something I would like to say thank you for the 40 years we've been together. Carefully and with great excitement I took them from the box on Christmas morning and noticed straight away that one of the earring posts was bent. Also the earrings were very poor quality. My husband was very upset as he'd trusted the assistant when she'd said they were good quality. He'd also been persuaded to purchase a box and bag to give them to me in. It ruined the moment for us on Christmas morning. I took them back this morning and the assistant ageed the post probably bent as it was put into the mount in the box. I said the quality was disappointing so could they be exchanged for something better if I paid extra as I hadn't worn them I was told that earrings cannot be exchanged even when they were faulty but she gave me another pair exactly the same and bagged the faulty pair up to send back. As I understood the law states money can be paid back if goods are faulty or are unfit for purpose. The earrings will now never be worn and will probably end up being thrown away. The length of the posts on them are very short and unlikely to go through my ears. In our 70's now and still having to rent our home due to health problems we do not have money to throw away and yet it has happened here. It spoilt everything for my husband who was just trying to make Christmas special. What a rotten shop in my opinion! Avoid it like the plague! I had to give a star because it wouldn't let me post a review if not but in truth it deserves zero stars!

Worst experience ever. Purchased an engagement and wedding ring set that I decided I didn’t like so took it back for an exchange the following day. The sales girl refused to exchange it even though a poster in store clearly said I had 14 days for exchange. After a fuss she then refused to try and locate the ring I wanted to replace it with, even though I’d been told (by another previous sales girl) that it was available but would need sourcing. She finally placed an order for it after confirming my ring size. Guess what? 6 weeks later I received it in a larger size. Fed up at this point, I kept it, so as not to waste any more time or energy. Within two months of wear one of the diamonds has fallen out. If you’re reading this, save your money and head and shop elsewhere!

Absolutely diabolical company. Rubbish jewellery, rubbish staff and just an all round horrendous experience. I really can't understand why anyone shops there. They sell utter tat with a hugely marked up price and pretend that is the RRP when it is not even worth the same price. Save your money folks and go to a reputable jeweller.

I bought a Swarovski necklace and earring set in rose gold. It is very poor quality, especially the chain. Maybe the silver colour might be better but Warren James refused to exchange it. I would say it is not Swarovski.

Bought some earrings in so called diamond found the diamond to be cubic zirconia. Could not return it back coz it's gone past the returns or exchanges date. Will never shop at Warren James ever in my life. What a useless fake jewellery store. I will give a zero 🌟 if there was an option to do so.

poor quality earrings received not worth the sale price let alone the £39 the alleged RRP! Customer services dire! not helpful most repeated automated messages (all some content)you can't call these people only fax numbers displayed! The returns policy is almost non-existent - I am very unhappy and left with an item that I wouldn't consider giving to the intended recipient as item not up to the desired standard! Buyers beware is all I can add
