This is by far the best acoustic cloth I've seen and tested. It's very opaque, and is only a quarter db down at 20 hz vs no cloth. Truly astounding.

I've had the pleasure of having these panels in my studio a few months now, and all I can say is WOW. these panels made my control room sound even more fantastic. and though you can't see them in the picture I have attached, its the first time in my life i haven't had to do some crazy back wall treatment (just took three panels) to accommodate for my display setup that's always been a variation of either two large screens, or one gigantic screen. once I got my sub system set properly, it's now flat as a pancake in here, and I couldn't be happier. the added bonus of the panels being made extremely well, and looking incredible in this room, is just the icing on the cake. Thank you Acoustimac for the great product, and thank you for working with me and being so easy to contact and talk with. I've learned after buying a brand new house in 2021, that getting anything delivered in a timely manner that isn't from amazon, is a real pain in the butt right now. Acoustimac was simply amazing in this regard, with the panels arriving early, and working with me to make sure they were safe at my new house until i could get there. I'm extremely pleased and now anytime i need anything like what Acoustimac offers in the future, i know right were to go to get it. :). If you need sound paneling for a studio, a church, or even a home theater room, This is the place to go to. p.s. the panels are even approved by the most discerning of all critics, my basset Hound Winston, shown here listening to the new Silk Sonic Album in my control room while getting a belly rub. Believe me, Winston Approval is a big deal. :)

Well, I had no idea what I was getting myself into trying to deter voice echoes in our church sanctuary, yet keep a bit of natural reverb for small performances. Acoustimac made the process really simple. From the abundance of samples, to answering a question over the phone and providing some nice panels. I'm going to review this as the process I followed. We ordered about 34 panels and I scheduled myself (solo) two days to complete the install. Through Amazon, I found a 360 degree laser level for $32 after price drop and coupon. Popped it in the middle of the room and had a nice true line. I didn't want the cleats seen, so I used a square and drew a line 2" from top and marked it 2" from each side for the start of the cleat corner. (This was a random measure based on 2" + or - is an easy reference when adjusting for setting the distances between panels). Regarding using the included screws to mount the cleats - I used a drill to screw them in 95% of the way, but hand finish the tightening as they're super easy to strip. Go slow even when hand tightening and you'll be fine. If you're going into drywall (sheetrock), I liked using these (link below) for mounting the wall cleats. I reserved the laser line for the top-most hole to mount the cleat. That meant a simple pencil mark...use a phillips screwdriver to slightly 'centerpunch' into the drywall on the laser line. Then the included anchor drill bit will center right in for a consistent level mounting hole of all the cleats. Made it super quick! https://www.homedepot.com/p/Triple-Grip-10-x-1-1-2-in-Anchors-with-Screws-70-Pack-172K/202527087?MERCH=REC-_-searchViewed-_-NA-_-202527087-_-N I noted that "higher was a bit better", but I didn't want to exceed the window height. We're also a very small congregation and doing a full audio spectrum analysis was not in the budget. I noted in one interview that about 16-22% coverage was typical, I figured we were close. Overall, I'd ordered 4 extra panels, but ended up using them all. You can detail all you want to, but I ended up laying them all in place on the ground to get a visual and then decided I needed 4 between the windows vs. 3 to get a consistent equal distance that gave a better look of the install. My overall time spanned about 10 hours start to cleanup over two days. One more thing to expect. These are wood frames...they can absorb a little moisture and you may end up with a few that warp lightly. It's not a big deal. You could go through the hassle of an extra centered bottom cleat to pull it to the wall. What I found works simple and fast is to get the FABRIC style velcro strips (not the smooth surface only) and it'll stick to the fabric on back and the painted wall. I used it on the corner of 3 that slightly lifted away at one corner and it worked perfect. Thin enough you won't see it. So far so good! Voice echos in even an empty room are about 90%+ gone (lol, not a scientific measurement!). But, it works. Our pastor was in and tested from the pulpit...he was floored with the result. I can't say enough good about Acoustimac. Great company IN THE USA to work with! Best prices I've found for a quality product. I expected a pine wood product not to be "perfect", but we could afford to do what we needed, it did the job well, looks fabulous with the "executive bone" color fabric. I'll certainly buy anything of this nature from them in the future.
