“For my first ayahuasca retreat, I was looking for an authentic experience that would support personal healing and spiritual growth, all within a safe container. It was important to me that the engagement felt respectful of the traditional roots of shamanic practice, as well as the communities who are generously sharing their knowledge and expertise. APL truly went beyond every expectation throughout the process. They shared amble preparation guidance so I felt confident heading to the center. The retreat itself was beautifully held -- with APL attending to all the details in order to create connection, safety and gently guide us into an impactful experience. And through to the integration phase, APL has been present, attentive and thoughtful. Most of all, every member of the team is experienced and professional in their role, and brings a high degree of integrity and intentionality to every aspect of the retreat experience. And the structure of the retreat itself perfectly balances traditional practice with considerations for safety and comfort. For me it was truly transformational - and I feel extremely grateful to APL and my fellow retreaters for the co-created experience.”

“I want to say the biggest heartfelt thanks to the APL team for their incredible amount of love and care they have provided to myself and the group throughout the retreat. I am grateful that my healing journey started in such a safe sacred place with the team. Shaman Noe Lopez was so kind and attentive to us. His icaros touched my soul, making me feel safe to be present with my pain, to acknowledge the pain and to learn to let go, healing me from within. It is my second time with the APL team and I kept learning new things in my inner journey. It is sacred and holy. It was transformational for me. I have a lot to reflect upon and process. The food has been one of my highlights. I love how healthy and delicious the food and snacks are. It shows the amount of love and care given my the chef and the team. Little details made such a big difference. It is an inspiration for my own health journey outside the retreat. Boris has been extremely informative in providing us with many informative useful materials, guides, understandings to prepare ourselves physically and mentally for the ceremonies. Krystalyn and Aimee have been absolute angels in helping us navigate and process difficult confusing emotions. They made us feel their presence and care. Ubi, Jose and Sasha have been attentive, considerate, stable and present, holding a safe space for us to process. Mick has been a fantastic guitarist, translator, interpreter to help us connect with the shaman, breaking down language barrier. This is now a beautiful part of my self reflection, healing, evolving, exploring, awareness and growing. I feel super super lucky to be under the care of APL team, evolving even during one of my most vulnerable states. Thank you arigatou gracias”

“This was by far, the most beautiful and profound week I have ever experienced and I wouldn’t recommend any other retreat. Everything was properly thought of in detail: the location, staff, activities, curandero, facilities, etc. Never have I met such incredible and pure souls who run this business with the true and sincere intentions to help others. The other participants were also incredible human beings who showed so much love and support with one another which is a rarity in my life. I’m already looking forward to the next retreat with APL Journeys. Thank you APL team for everything you do.”

“Where to begin? This was a five star experience from beginning to end. Pre-retreat - great communication from the team, very patient with all my diet questions and lots of information and resources to address concerns or queries. I also appreciated the thorough wellbeing check and the Zoom meet where we got to connect with the whole group ahead of time. At the retreat, there was great attention to detail, the location was fantastic, really peaceful and the ceremony space was ideal. As for the ceremonies themselves, I have never been on an Aya retreat so can't compare but I felt well taken care of and supported. Our shaman, Maestro Noe, held the space so expertly and compassionately. The facilitator team were always on hand and the integration circle the following day helped to ground and guide our experience. In addition, the extras were great - horse riding, massage, sound bath. All these touches made the week a rejuvinating and powerful experience. The team were amazing and clearly take being stewards of the teacher plant very seriously but do so with grace and humour. There aren't many organisations that are truly 5 star, but APL really are. Even with the few minor things that didnt go to plan, they did all they could to rectify wherever possible. I can't imagine a better organisation to enbark on an Ayahuasca journey with.”

“When I scanned the rewiews for APL months ago I thought: this can't be true, it can't be that good. Yet it is! Everything exceeded my expectations, starting with the amazing retreat location and yummy food! I swear, some magic is going on there... Thank you Master Noe and Mother Aya for helping me heal my pain and give myself the gift of forgiveness. Thank you Boris, Lynn, Krystalyn, Ubi, Sacha, Mik: you made me feel safe, and provided precious guidance and support throughout the experience. “An amazing journey, mainly thanks to the APL team! Their professionalism, care, respect and support have been truly healing for me. Of course, the power of the medicine itself, the whole process and the fabulous location have contributed greatly to the experience. But for me personally, the most transformative impact came form the contact with these remarkable people who helped me experience, for the first time in my life, what it means to feel completely safe, accepted, present. “I lived a large part of my life, with a lot of fear and a lot of sadness inside me... without realizing the reason and for no reason. This feeling did not let me realize and enjoy many wonderful situations that life has to offer us. During a wonderful week with the APL, I was able to solve what was preventing me from living in a freer, more joyful and deeper way. At this moment I can enjoy every moment with the people I love the most, to appreciate such simple situations and live in a lighter and more joyful way. “This experience was much more than I could have imagined. The whole team is composed of professionals from various fields, which led to an overall 10/10 experience. They are knowledgeable and compassionate, and after one week one feels like being a part of a loving family. They also create nourishing environment where participants intermingle with the staff and beautiful relationships are created. When it comes to medicine, they are the right people you want to do it with in case you have any doubts. Everything is explained in advance and their gained experience is ever-present during the retreat. My experience was enriching on many personal levels. It revealed so much to myself (to myself) and I am not afraid to call this a life-transforming week. I would advise Ayahuasca retreat to everyone willing to look inside their soul. And after my experience, I know if I am going to do it again, it's going to be with APL.”
