“The best retreat I’ve been to. It’s a great balance between scientific and spiritual. It respects the plant medicine by honoring its history, educating people about shamanism and native practices, and bringing in shamans who come from generations of practitioners. Great care is taken into preparing participants for each stage, and taking the uncertainty and anxiety out of the equation. Things such as yoga, massages, sound baths allow leading up to ceremonies are excellent tools also. As the ceremonies are a community exercise, great care is given to allowing for harmony and connections to evolve within the group. The organizers and staff are very well informed in the areas of trauma, ptsd and latest literature on healing as an evolving field. Sharing and processing circles after each ceremony reflect that awareness, and the availability of individual sessions are a great way to assist participants in working through themes that come up for them. I highly recommend this retreat. If I were to dream up an ideal approach to dealing with and healing from…this was even better.”

“I had the privilege to attend an Ayahuasca retreat with APL in march 2023,this was one of the most challenging, painful, insightful, beautiful and life changing experiences of my life, going on this retreat was one of the best decisions I ever made in my life.The whole week was truly well planned and organized, it's easy to see how much thought and work has gone in to planning these events.Everyone at APL had their own super power and used it to help us on our journey.Taking ayahuasca can be a very scary thing but the whole team at APL worked so hard to make us feel safe,supported and created a loving environment for us.I feel so much gratitude for Boris, Sasha, Asha, our shaman Pepe, Ubi,Mick and Danielle they all did their part so my experience could be what I needed it to be..I only have positive things to say about APL and give them my warmest recommendations.”

“This was the second retreat I've done with APL Journeys in Spain, and it was just as phenomenal as the first one. Their knowledge and respect for Ayahuasca, master plants and traditional Amazonian Shamanism is what makes them stand out as the best plant medicine retreat in Europe (and Mexico). APL has truly solidified themselves as the most supportive, caring, attentive, passionate and professional group of facilitators in this kind of retreat setting I have ever come across. The environment they create is ideal for surrendering to Mother Aya, and I am forever grateful to every person who made this retreat what it was… another life-altering opportunity. “Life changing! Amazonian plant medicine healing delivered with competence & compassion in a magical place... As Ayahuasca healing medicine was a new & bold step for me, I reviewed & contacted many retreats globally in my search for the right retreat. APL responded openly & completely right from the start. Based on this professional & responsible approach, their depth of knowledge of Ayahuasca & master plants, strong connections with Amazonian Shamanism, and all the positive reviews, I chose APL as my retreat. I was clearly guided to the right choice and I do not have the words to describe what my APL experience has done for me. It has been life changing. I truly have never felt as safe in my life. “If you want to work with Ayahuasca for healing in the most safe, loving and supportive environment - APL Journeys is the place to go. I was considering Ayahuasca therapy for many years to heal from childhood trauma, but never had the courage. Then I finally dared and I am so happy and grateful that I did, specifically that I had the committed, professional and empathic team of APL Journeys to guide me. I can truly say that this week has been transformative for me, I left a different person and I feel loved and wanted as a person since the experiences. “Phenomenal - to anyone who feels the call to journey down this path, from my own experience, I sincerely recommend you choose APL. This was my first Ayahuasca experience, so finding the right healing practitioners, guides and location was very important. I chose APL because they honour the traditions of plant medicine, and provide a safe space for healing - what I received went above and beyond this and I feel incredibly blessed to have taken my journey with them. During the retreat, I witnessed their work, but honestly, it was more of an act of service. I can not put into words the care and compassion given to all those who choose to take part. I always felt safe throughout the whole process and my time there. My journey was profound and life-changing simply because of the natural power of plant medicine and the wonderful human beings behind APL. “This has been a life-changing experience for me. Some context: I'm not into spirituality, religion, or anything else 'mystical' for that matter. I wanted to try ayahuasca to deal with emotional baggage that I've accumulated - it was affecting my daily life badly. 3 days after the retreat, I feel a lot lighter from having gotten rid of all this baggage. I also feel like a fundamentally different person. The way APL has run such a difficult and deeply personal process like this has been nothing short of spectacular. I highly recommend APL for anyone who wants to change their life for the better and is looking for a different but effective approach.”

“This was my second retreat with APL and again I had a wonderful experience with them. I was happy to see Anael, Boris, Sascha and Amanda again as I already trusted them. You can feel that they deeply care about this work and show great integrity and love. I could transform very old wounds in a short amount of time and could expand my capacity for love and abundance in a way that I didn't think was possible. I think Ayahuasca is really unique in the depth and embodiment it can reach in a short time. “My Ayahuasca journey has been undoubtedly the most unique experience in my life and I can't imagine a better team than APL for this journey. It was a true privilege to be a part of a community so balanced and full of love with only one intention; the intention to heal our body, mind and soul. Everything was planned and done with such great love and care, which left me speechless at the end of the retreat. It was a challenging journey for sure, but everyone at APL have helped me to overcome all my fears and made me feel safe at all times.
