Let me help lower the risk of something going wrong during your Bali holiday. After years of passing on insider tips to family and friends, I'm sharing my local knowledge about money, transport, attractions and day tours.

Transfers from Bali Airport to your hotel or villa are easy if you book ahead. Remove the stress from arriving at Bali Airport and book a private car and driver to personally meet you and get you to your accommodations quickly and easily. Be met on arrival by one of my personally vetted, English-speaking drivers and receive comprehensive, detailed instructions on navigating the airport and making contact with your personal driver straight after booking.

Our day tours get rave reviews because my network of local drivers is second to none. I have personally vetted all the drivers I work with. They text me when they pick you up and again when you have been dropped off at the end of the day. I also email your driver’s name, profile photo, vehicle photo and phone number beforehand to ensure your safety and provide confidence. They are all incredibly knowledgeable and make amazing guides for your day tours around Bali.

“Samsul was extremely patient and flexible with us. He ensured that we were well looked after for the 3 days we had him. He drove carefully yet astutely in navigating Bali's infamous traffic. We would definitely look him up again when we return to Bali in the not too distant future.”

“Do yourself a favor - book with Bali Holiday Secrets and let them sweat the details. From the day I found their website and saw Michael answering people's questions in real time (talk about customer service!) until our driver Kadek dropped us off after our completely customized shore excursion we only had to concentrate on enjoying our vacation. Communication was great - booking was easy, we were given the name, photo (of both car and driver) and contact info for our driver (WhatsApp- free and easy). The price was great (less than $65 USD for an all-day tour, from pick up at the cruise ship at 10:30 AM to drop off at 7 PM). The vehicle was clean and comfortable (well-air conditioned, and our driver, Kadek, always had it cooled before we got in) and the driver spoke very good English, gave us good information about the area, the people, the sites, was prompt, courteous, and was willing to drive us wherever we wanted to go, let us stay as long or as short a time as we wanted, and was very conscious about our time in order to get us back to the port on time. Our driver's name was Kadek Midarta, and while I don't know if you can request a particular driver, I would request him the next time we're in town if possible. Great experience all the way around. Bali was our 4th Indonesian port on this cruise, and while Bali felt most touristy, the price didn't reflect that. Inexpensive, professional driver, great communication from even before we booked, and getting the most out of our single day in Bali - this was a great experience and we highly recommend Bali Holiday Secrets.”

“Putu was the best! The tour was perfect and exactly what we wanted. He was easy to communicate with both before and during the tour and his knowledge of the area and the places we wanted to visit very helpful for first time visitors to Bali. But what makes him stand out was when we had a minor medical issue and had to find a health clinic with specific medications. It was a pretty stressful situation, but Putu remained calm and professional and his help was invaluable. I can recommend him enough. Bali can be a little overwhelming for first time visitors, but Bali Holiday Secrets is the best and most complete resource I found and encourage anyone thinking about a visit to review the entire site.”

“First of all The Bali Holiday Secrets website is exceptional in providing all the information a visitor needs to be prepared for his or her visit. It made our preparation, transit through arrivals, stop for money and a sim card easy. Driver (and guide) Gede Ardi met us as planned. While we are only in our 3rd day of 6 days before embarking on another Windstar cruise, Our experience with Gede has been excellent. His choice of places to visit, restaurants in addition to accommodating our needs has made this a wonderful visit. Gede's driving skills, sense of humor and knowledge have made this a great visit. Having visited over 90 countries in the past I know a great organization and that is Bali Holiday Secrets and the people associated with it. Finally, I cannot imagine renting a car and trying to drive in Bali. Bruce Fennie”
