Let me help lower the risk of something going wrong during your Bali holiday. After years of passing on insider tips to family and friends, I'm sharing my local knowledge about money, transport, attractions and day tours.

Transfers from Bali Airport to your hotel or villa are easy if you book ahead. Remove the stress from arriving at Bali Airport and book a private car and driver to personally meet you and get you to your accommodations quickly and easily. Be met on arrival by one of my personally vetted, English-speaking drivers and receive comprehensive, detailed instructions on navigating the airport and making contact with your personal driver straight after booking.

Our day tours get rave reviews because my network of local drivers is second to none. I have personally vetted all the drivers I work with. They text me when they pick you up and again when you have been dropped off at the end of the day. I also email your driver’s name, profile photo, vehicle photo and phone number beforehand to ensure your safety and provide confidence. They are all incredibly knowledgeable and make amazing guides for your day tours around Bali.

“We booked Bali Holiday Secrets twice during our week-long stay in Bali, for both a full day and a half day private driver tour. Both times, the service was excellent and super easy. When we booked we had an email confirming the driver, with a picture of both the driver and the car and a guide of how to pronounce their name. Then later on, we had a What's Ap from the driver to talk about the itinerary. Both drivers arrived well before pick-up time. Their English was excellent. They knew how to get to everywhere and were immensely friendly. They were more than willing to either answer questions about Bali, or drive in silence when we were tired at the end. They were awesome! The beauty of the service is that you get to take all of the hassle out of travelling around the island. On both occasions, Dendong and Wayan devised a timetable to get us to the places we wanted to visit, then either came in and helped us with buying a ticket (when we were going into somewhere that was ticketed), or just dropped us off at the right place when we wanted to go to the beach. The upside is that you can spend as long as you like visiting somewhere and if you want to stay longer, you just drop them a whats ap and it's all sorted! It makes going to somewhere like Ubud and having a wander around, super easy. And you know you dont have to run the Russian Roulette of a local driver in a Blue cab at the end! On both occasions, Dendong and Wayan pointed out lots of local places of interest and had suggestions about what to do (but weren't offended if we didn't want to do it). They knew where everything was which took the hassle out of finding for eg the small laneway at Thomas Beach which we would never have found if we were left to our own devices. In short, it streamlined the touring process MASSIVELY and isn't expensive for what you get. The cars are really well maintained and air-conditioned. Couldn't recommend enough.”

“Really simple and easy process to book transfer from airport to hotel. I was given the WhatsApp for our driver Wayan, which really helped as our flight was delayed so the original meeting time at the airport was delayed a few hours, whatsapped Wayan and he said no problem and waited for us to arrive. Wayan was a brilliant driver and answered our questions on the 2+ hour drive up to Ubud. These guys are a much better service than risking a random taxi.”

“Michael, contacting you was the best decision. It was the first time my husband and I who are both in our 70s had been to Bali and your advice and the driver you arranged made it stress free trip When we disembarked from our cruise ship we found Gede easily. “Excellent experience. Gede and Made were fantastic, very accommodating, patient and very informative. It was great talking to them. And we were very impressed how they knew the ins and outs of the roads with no help from gps other than to check traffic. Making the arrangements online was seamless. Michael was very responsive. “Great tour of Ubud and surrounding area. The experience was greatly improved because Made was our guide and driver and assisted with ticket purchase for venues and looked after us on the entire tour. “We booked a driver through Bali Holiday Secrets. Best thing we did! Kadek was amazing, so friendly and helpful! He is an awesome driver! He was always checking we were ok and helping us with what we could do and where to go. He helped get us tickets as it was a bit confusing at times. “Our driver wa Dana. Were we lucky. What a friendly knowledgeable young man. Was genuinely keen to answer any questions. We discussed our wants and followed his recommendations. A skilled and careful driver.Just the drive to the monkey farm was a buzz. He stopped at the silver factory snd the poo coffee shop on the day. You haven't been in traffic until you do this. Recommend to anyone. Dana is a special family man trying to provide for his family in a world we would never experience. Hundred percent trustwothy.”

“We booked Wayan Tisna for 5 hours, not knowing how many miles we would be able to cover in the early hours of the morning. He was on time... looked at the itinerary we had made and talked through options. He was very accommodating, and to our surprise, got us every where we wanted to go, including a few photo stops road side! When an issue arose with our next transportation meeting spot, he helped come up with a solution. I found his calm demeaner refreshing. We felt safe, even in heavy crazy traffic.”

“Was hesitant on the denpasar food tour but that was an amazing experience. it was a bit hectic at the market but it added to the fun. The wife and I ate more food than we can handle. Bali holiday secrets is an amazing website and woudl definitely recommend it. Our drivers for the airport transfer and tour were very friendly and engaging”
