“Unfortunately I have had to return my boots because I have a high instep and I really struggled to pull them on. Just too tight for me. Otherwise, if you have a normal instep, they would have been super.”

“I had to order a size 9 which is a little bit loose as I am usually 8.5 but beautiful boots and very comfortable.”

“Received the order promptly but found the boot too high on the calf. Had to return them for an exchange for a shorter leg version. Have heard nothing since returning the first order.”

“My boots arrived promptly and looked lovely. Unfortunately, the wrong size had been sent. The packing slip clearly said size 5 but the boots were size 4, which was rather disappointing. However, I rang the office and a new pair of the right size was posted that day. I was able to return the wrong ones free of charge, which was also a bonus. The new ones fit perfectly and are really warm and comfortable straight out of the box. Despite the hiccup with the sizing, I would recommend these boots.”

“I have wide feet so had to remove the liners to be comfortable. I’m sure that as I wear them in , I’ll be able to put the liners back in. Love the boots.”

“Great boots. They break in very quickly. Please do buy a size larger than you need (male buyer here). The 11s for me even with thin socks were too tight. I have only been wearing them a week so this is just initial impressions. The waterproofing is fine by default putting your own treatment on may be prudent long term as the leather is relatively supple and could scuff. A good long coat and these are you are good to go👍.”

“I'm size 5 and bought size 5 after debating whether to size up or not. They are incredibly difficult to get on to the point where I thought I was going to have to return them for a bigger size. After heating them up with my hairdryer I managed to get them on and they were more comfortable than expected. I did get a blister but I'm sure they will soften up with use.”

“Very strong. Well made. Great colour. Comfortable. No blisters on first wearing. Broad fit. Sadly, I scuffed my new boots on Day One. I'm going to try to get some matching polish to remove the scuffing. I've folded my socks over the tops of the boots, under my jeans, so there's no rubbing on my ankles. I think I may have preferred the boots with the narrower ankles and elastic sides, as I think they'd be more snug around my ankles. Next time ...”

“I absolutely love these boots, but tried two sizes and couldn’t get my foot in either. The opening was far too tight and the boot itself was too narrow. I had wanted these boots for a while and was very disappointed to have to return them. I imagined they would have been my favourite boots for many years, that I would live in, but sadly not to be. Great quality. I would love them to do wide fittings!”

“I am absolutely delighted with my boots. They fit perfectly, are very comfortable and keep my feet warm and dry. I have only been wearing them for 3 weeks though and the reason for the 4 stars is that my sister’s pair are now leaking. She has only had them for 10 months. I hope mine don’t do this.”
